We’ve an early Christmas present with a bumper round of midweek top-flight fixtures – and that means Mark Lawrenson‘s on double-bubble with more Premier League predictions.

Our resident tipster doesn’t have a challenger this week but he’s still delivered his correct scores picks for the games across the next three days.

Kicking things off is Tuesday’s double-header featuring three sides in the bottom half of the table as well as league leaders Arsenal.

Wolves v Burnley

7.30pm – Amazon Prime

I fancy 1-1 draw here on the premise Burnley may pick up a few points now after that thashing of Sheffield United at the weekend. Their confidence should be on the up and a point could be up for grabs.

Wolves are a big, athletic side but don’t have loads of goals about them.

Luton v Arsenal

8.15pm – Amazon Prime

I’ll go for a 2-0 Arsenal win here – but people are realising Kenilworth Road is a really tough place to go and win. The pitch is tight and with the new stand it feels like the crowd are right on top of you.

Of the newly-promoted sides Luton have the best chance of staying up. They’re not a pretty watch, but they know what they’re doing. I think the home form will decide it.

Declan Rice has made a big difference for Arsenal, but I don’t think they can win the league because they need a striker. Gabriel Jesus is a good player but doesn’t score than many, and they haven’t really got anyone else.

As the games get tighter later in the season a striker can make all the difference, that’s why Manchester City and Liverpool are always up there. They’re definitely improving, I’m just not sure they’ve got enough to win it.
