Brighton vs Brentford
The American Express Stadium, Brighton
TV: Amazon Prime
Over 2.5 Goals
Brighton’s 3-2 defeat against Chelsea proved yet again that they are the most exciting team in the Premier League.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season, but they have also scored in every single game. Their 14 league matches have seen a whopping 56 goals this season, by far the most of any team in the division, scoring 30 and conceding 26.
They will face a more pragmatic outfit when Brentford come to town, but there still should be plenty of goals. Brighton simply don’t know any other way.
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth
Selhurst Park, London
TV: Amazon Prime
Under 3.5 Cards
Bournemouth’s trip to Selhurst Park could well be one of the cleanest games in the league this season. Palace boast the best disciplinary record in the league, receiving just 23 cards in 14 games to date.
Roy Hodgson’s side have picked up one card or fewer in half of their league games and are unlikely to pick up a significant number against Bournemouth.
The Cherries have also been well disciplined this season, picking up 26 bookings and one red card in 14 games. Neither side is likely to accumulate too many cards.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest
Craven Cottage, London
TV: Amazon Prime
Over 6.5 Fulham Corners
Nottingham Forest are quietly being dragged back into a relegation battle. Saturday’s home defeat against Everton was especially troubling for Steve Cooper and the Welsh manager will be hoping that his side can battle for a result at Craven Cottage.
Forest will probably be doing a lot of defending. Cooper’s side boast the fourth-lowest possession stats in the league this season and have conceded 52 corners in seven away games at a rate of over seven per game.
There is nothing to suggest that they won’t reach that average here.
Sheffield United vs Liverpool
Bramall Lane, Sheffield
TV: Amazon Prime
Mohamed Salah to Score
Mohamed Salah was somehow not among the goalscorers in Liverpool’s 4-3 win over Fulham on Sunday as the Egyptian forward’s wait for his 200th goal goes on. He will fancy his chances of reaching that landmark against a wretched Sheffield United side.
The Blades are rock bottom of the Premier League with just five points from their opening 14 games and have conceded a league-high of 39 goals.
The bulk of Salah’s 10 league goals this season have come at Anfield, but there is a very good chance that he adds to his tally at Bramall Lane.
Darwin Nunez to have 2 or more Shots on Target
It is absolutely no surprise to learn that Sheffield United have faced the most shots in the league by quite a distance.
The Blades have faced an average of 19 shots per game this season, at least two shots per game more than any other club in the division. In their last six games, they have faced a whopping 40 shots on target at an average of almost seven per game.
Liverpool are likely to match that average at the very least and it wouldn’t be surprising if Darwin Nunez is responsible for at least two of them. The Uruguayan forward has only scored four league goals this season despite attempting the second-highest number of shots in the division.
It is simply in his nature to do something world class and then miss a golden opportunity from inside the six-yard box.
