Wednesday 8:15pm: Aston Villa v Man City
Premier League, Villa Park, Birmingham
TV: Amazon Prime
Over 3.5 Goals
Manchester City have won just three of their last eight league games and none of their last three ahead of this difficult trip to Villa Park, where Aston Villa have won 13 consecutive Premier League games.
To make matters worse for City, they will travel to Villa park without Rodri after the midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on Sunday. Considering how much City struggled in his absence earlier in the season, it all points to an extremely tricky task.
City have conceded nine goals in their last four games but have also scored 14 goals in that timeframe, so there is every chance that there will be plenty of action.
Villa, meanwhile, have scored 23 in seven home league games this season, the most home goals of any home team in the division. They are likely to breach a vulnerable City defence but are unlikely to keep a clean sheet considering how strong City are in attack.
Boubacar Kamara to Commit 2 or more Fouls
No Villa player has committed more fouls this season than Boubacar Kamara. The French midfielder averages 1.8 fouls per game in the league this season and also completes 2.2 tackles per 90 minutes, highlighting his tenacity in the centre of midfield, and he will be busy when he comes up against City’s midfield.
Pep Guardiola’s side draw more than 11 fouls per game and enjoy the highest possession averages in the Premier League, meaning there is a good chance that Kamara will be drawn into at least two fouls.

Over 4.5 Cards
Neither Aston Villa nor Manchester City boast particularly bad disciplinary records, but they are not particularly good either. City have received 27 yellow cards and one sending off in 14 league games at a rate of exactly two cards per game, while Villa have received 35 bookings and no red cards in the same number of games.
However, those figures are likely to rise in what should be a tense affair at Villa Park.
Both sides rank among the top teams in the league in terms of fouls won per game and have a good chance of drawing a high number of fouls here. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a flurry of yellow cards issued.
Erling Haaland to have 2 or more Shots on Target
Erling Haaland registered two assists in the 3-3 draw with Spurs on Sunday, but it was a day to forget for the Norwegian striker, who missed two sitters and ended the game with a hissyfit.
Haaland, however, is not one to let a bad display in front of goal get him down and there is every chance that he will go out and score a brace. At the very least, he should pepper the Villa goal with shots.
The City frontman averages four shots per game in the Premier League this season, by far the most of any player in the division and almost double that of any team-mate. He is decent value to test Emi Martinez at least twice.
Over 5.5 Manchester City Corners
Manchester City may not have won any of their last three games, but it has not been for want of trying. Guardiola’s side have put huge pressure on their recent opponents, winning 22 corners in their games against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Spurs.
They have won a whopping 46 corners in their last five games at a rate of over nine per game and there is every chance they will win at least six at Villa Park.
There will be times when Villa will simply have to dig in against the champions and Unai Emery’s men may well be forced to concede a half-dozen corners.
