Marseille v Rennes

Stade Velodrome, Marseille, 7:45pm
TV: TNT Sports

Under 2.5 Goals

Both teams are suffering some poor Ligue Un form. Marseille have won just one of their last five league games, drawing two and losing two, scoring in just two of those games. At the Velodrome things are better with three wins and two draws, scoring seven goals but they failed to score in two of them.

Rennes have also won just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three, while on their league travels have drawn three and lost two, scoring a grand total of two goals while conceding five. We’re very unlikely to be entertained here, we’re backing Under 2.5 Goals.

Napoli v Inter

Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Napoli, 7:45pm
TV: TNT Sports

Laurtaro Martinez to Score

Inter’s Laurtaro Martinez is having yet another fantastic season for the Nerazzurri, scoring 13 in 13 in the Serie A as well as two in five in the Champions League. He loves the big occasions too, scoring an absolute peach away to Juventus last weekend.

Napoli have conceded an eye-watering 10 goals over their last five on home soil and in such great form, we have to back the Argentine to score.

Draw

The hosts have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five in the Serie A but their home results of just one win, one draw and three losses is worrying. Inter have won four of their last five in the league, drawing the other one while on their travels share the same results.

However, the hosts rarely lose to Inter, indeed just one of their last eight meetings here have seen the hosts losing. With that in mind and Napoli desperate to get back into the title race we can see honours being shared.

Barcelona v Atletico Madrid

Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, Barcelona, 8pm
TV: ITV4

Over 2.5 Goals

Three of their last five meetings where Barca have been the home side have seen Over 3.5 goals and although Barca’s home games are being played at a different venue for this season they’ve adapted well to their new surroundings.

Four of their last five home games have seen Over 2.5 goals landing and we’re also seen four of Atletico’s last five hitting at least three goals and four of their last five on the road as well.

With both teams on 31 points and chasing both Real Madrid and Girona neither will be wanting to settle for a draw here so we’re expecting to see at least three goals.

Joao Felix to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Despite having seven La Liga goals for Barcelona this season, Robert Lewandowski has cut a frustrated figure on the pitch of late. The reason being is that manager Xavi has been forced into chopping and changing Lewy’s support players.

Jaoo Felix however has been present for most of their La Liga games. He’s only scored one league goal but has three in five in the Champions League and with 2.2 shots per average league game and facing a coach he had a massive falling out with, we reckon he’s going to be firing when he has the chance here.
