AC Milan v Frosinone

San Siro, Milan, 7:45pm
TV: TNT Sports

Both Teams to Score, No

Milan will be somewhat licking their wounds following their 1-3 home defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. The Rossoneri will now have to beat Newcastle in England if they’re to have a chance of qualifying.

But getting back to this game, the hosts have won three of their last five home Serie A games without conceding while their opponents have now lost all four of their most recent on their travels, failing to score in two of them. That’s a trend of clean sheets we have to exploit for the home team.

AC Milan -1

Milan’s results haven’t been great of late but they’ve been very much struggling with injuries. The return of Oiliver Giroud, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic however means they’re coming back to full strength and should have more than enough to win this game by at least two goals, particularly with Frosinone’s recent results in mind.

Newcastle v Man United

St. James’ Park, Newcastle, 8pm
TV: TNT Sports

Over 2.5 Goals

Are Manchester United the only team in European competition to score three goals in all of their three previous away European games and only chalk up one point? Surely they are. The Red Devils are a strange side, they’re actually the form team in the Premier League and have the most clean sheets but there’s just something off.

They’ll be confident of getting something against an injury-ravaged Newcastle but Toon have won seven of their last eight at home, conceding just three times. United are in good goal-scoring form though, scoring eight of their last five away Premier League games. Both will surely score here but we’re backing seeing at least three goals.

Anthony Gordon to have 1 or more Shots on Target

There are a few candidates we couldn’t gone for here but it’s the former Everton man who has the best value. He’s been a terror to play against this season, scoring five and assisting three over his 12 Newcastle appearances in the league.

His relationship with striker Alexander Isak is budding and we’ve seen some great link-up play between them of late and with the speed they attack with we reckon he’ll be testing Andre Onana between the United sticks at least once.

Nantes v Nice

Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes, 8pm
TV: TNT Sports

Nice to Win

Nantes have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing three, scoring just one goal over their last four Ligue Un clashes. Nantes, on the other hand, have won five of their last six, drawing the other one, keeping six clean sheets in the process.

Nice’s price to win has…sorry, couldn’t resist, some really nice value.

Osasuna v Real Sociedad

Estadio El Sadar, Pamplona, 8pm
TV: Viaplay

Real Sociedad to Win

Osasuna have won just one of their last five in La Liga, drawing one and losing three while at home they’ve won one, drawn two and lost two, failing to score in two of them.

Real Sociedad have won three of their last four, drawing the other one while in the league have won three, drawn one and lost one (which was to Barcelona). With the hosts in such bad form, we’re backing the away side.
