We’ll kick off Wednesday night’s Championship Multi Match Bet Builder with a juicy-looking game in the shape of Leeds at home to Swansea. Despite some pre-season concerns, Leeds are going along quite nicely and are 3rd in The Championship, 10 points off top, before the midweek fixtures.

Both Teams To Score

The Swans are down in 17th and sit eight-points clear of the drop zone. United are in top form at the moment and have won six of the last eight, drawing one and losing the other. Swansea, on the other hand, have won just one of their last six, drawing two and losing three.

Leeds should win this but Paddy’s trusty traders know this and it’s rather short. Instead I’ll take a bit of a punt on Both Teams To Score here. Both sides have bagged in each of the Swans’ last two and they’ve scored in nine of their last 11. Leeds have failed to score in one of the last 10 with Both Teams To Score clicking in six of their last nine.

7.45pm: Sheffield Wednesday v Leicester

TV: Sky Sports Red Button

Sheffield Wednesday are rock bottom of the second tier and are already 10 points from safety as they prepare to put up the barricades ahead of the visit of Leicester who are top of the pile. The Foxes have had a little wobble but won last time out and are still three clear of Ipswich in second.

Leicester (-1)

By all accounts Leicester should make light work of The Owls here. The away side have won 14 of their 17 games this term while Wednesday have won just once and have lost an eye-watering 13 games.

I’m taking on Leicester (-1) here which might look a bit dangerous as The Foxes usually only win by the odd goal. However, they picked up a 2-0 at the weekend and have scored 31 in 17 while Wednesday have shipped 29 and scored just eight. In the end the (-1) handicap might prove to be too reserved so I fancy it to click.

7.45pm: Sunderland v Huddersfield

TV: Sky Sports Red Button

Sunderland’s season has stalled a little of late and they’re down to ninth as five wins in six have been followed by two in the following seven. However, they’ll fancy their chances against a Huddersfield side who are 21st with one win in their last 11.

Over 2.5 Goals

Sunderland are, rightly, quite short to win here so I think the value may lie in Over 2.5 Goals. The Terriers have actually been keeping things relatively tight in recent times, considering the poor run they’re on.

However, Sunderland are good at home and have seen four goals in each of their three most recent games at the Stadium Of Light. On the road, Huddersfield have conceded four in two of their last four so the indication is that we could see a few goals in this game.

8pm: Ipswich v Millwall

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football

Ipswich were the best footballing side in League One by a country mile last term and they’ve been able to carry that into The Championship. They’re exceeding expectations and are second in the second tier, three points off top. Their opponents on Wednesday, Millwall, are 18th with just one win in their last seven.

Ipswich to Win

The Tractor Boys have had a little wobble of late with one win, two draws and a loss in their last four. However, you’ve got to fancy them back at Portman Road. Those three poor results all came away from home and they’ve picked up 21 points from eight games in Suffolk.

Millwall are pretty handy on the road with seven more points taken on their travels than in front of their own fans and in a game fewer, too. However, Ipswich have the best home record in the league so we’ve got to have Ipswich to Win here.

Over 2.5 Goals

I think we can expect a few goals in this one. Ipswich are the division’s top scorers but they’ve only got a mid-table defence. Millwall are pretty-low scorers with 19 in 17 games but they’ll fancy their chances of getting at least one against The Tractor Boys.

Ipswich have seen Over 2.5 Goals in six of their last eight games, a run that’s had 30 goals at an average of 3.75 goals a game. Even if Millwall can’t score I suspect we’ll get Over 2.5 Goals on the telly on Wednesday.
