Sunday 2pm: West Ham v Nottingham Forest
Premier League match at The London Stadium
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

West Ham haven’t won for four games but I think they’ll get a victory here. David Moyes normally gets a result when he needs one. Forest actually look like a midtable team – and that’s a compliment by the way! They don’t look like a bottom six side, they’re well managed under Steve Cooper and they’re very, very competitive.

I think they’ve got about 30 players so there’s plenty of competition and people pushing each other every week. David Moyes needs a win in the league, regardless of what’s happening in the cups, otherwise the doom mongers will be on to him. I think this will end West Ham 2-1 Nottingham Forest.

I think there will be a few goals because West Ham have looked a little off it at the back and Forest are not great on the road. I saw Forest at Liverpool a couple of weeks ago, granted they had a few injuries, but they didn’t start playing until they were 2-0 down.

The Hammers have got some quality players. Kudos to Mohammed Kudus, he scored that wondergoal the other week and he’s settled really well. He’s got something different, great skill and that was a part of the West Ham team that was needing to improve.

Lucas Paqueta’s brilliant and there’s the makings of a really good team there with West Ham. I think Europe has derailed them a little but in terms of the league and they were poor defensively last week which is unusual for a David Moyes team.

Taiwo Awoniyi is Forest’s danger man. He could have scored a few more against Villa last week and I don’t think they ever really understood how to play against the high line. That won’t be the case against West Ham, certainly. He’s the big danger for Forest and he’s pacy which causes problems whoever you are.

In terms of West Ham threats you immediately think about Jarrod Bowen. He’s in great form and became the Premier League player to score in the first six away games of any season last week at Brentford. You’d fancy Bowen to Score Anytime all day long here.

Moysey rang me when they were signing Bowen and asked me if I’d seen him play. I had seem him for Hull against Preston and I told Moyes that he was head and shoulders above everybody but I wasn’t sure he’s the quickest but he certainly gets by! He gets goals and has a fantastic work rate which Moyes loves.
