Exeter v Middlesbrough
St James Park, 7:45pm
Both Teams to Score, No
Exeter are in awful shape coming into their League Cup clash at home to Middlesbrough. The hosts have failed to win in any of their last seven fixtures, losing six and drawing one and only scoring a total of two goals. They’ve got bigger fish to fry than a cup run and the away side should be keeping a clean sheet here.
Middlesbrough to Win
‘Boro have won seven of their last eight games in all competitions.
A League Two side who have only scored two in their last eight aren’t going to be much of an obstacle for Michael Carrick’s side.
Borussia Monchengladbach v Heidenheim
Stadion im Borussia-Park, 7:45pm
TV: Viaplay
Borussia Monchengladbach to Win
Borussia Monchengladbach’s form has greatly improved after an awful start to the season and will be confident of qualifying from this all-Bundesliga DFB Pokal tie.
They’ve now won three of their last five fixtures in all competitions, drawing one and losing one while the away side have now had four losses on the bounce where they failed to score in two of them.
With those kinds of results you can’t really make an argument for anything other than a home win.

Kaiserslautern v FC Koln
Fritz Walter Stadion, 7:45pm
Kaiserslautern or Draw
Hard to believe but it’s been 11 years since Kaiserslautern were in the top tier of German football, they’re now plying their trade in the third tier and FC Koln will be counting on their top flight experience standing to them here.
The away side are in bad shape though, winning just one of their last five games and losing the other four, while on the road have lost four and drawn one.
The hosts have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five while on home soil have won four and drawn one. The away side are in such bad shape that backing the hosts makes sense, but let’s play it a little safe and back them in the Double Chance market.
Hibs v Ross County
Easter Road, 7:45pm
Under 2.5 Goals
Neither side come into this Premiership fixture looking the best, indeed there’s only been one win over their last 10 combined games. Hibs have only won one of their last five home league games, drawing two and losing two while Ross have won one, drawn two and lost two on their recent league travels.
It’s the type of game where you’d nearly back both teams to lose if you could but with both teams averaging just above a goal per game at home/away we don’t see this one ending with a high scoreline.
Bologna v Verona
Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, 8pm
Bologna to Win
Verona almost took a valuable point away from Turin last Sunday night but a late, late Juventus goal saw the Old Lady taking all three points. No doubt they’re still going to be feeling the effects of that gruelling game here.
Bologna have only lost one game this season but they’re drawing quite a few it must be noted. On home soil they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one of late and with the visitors losing four and drawing one of their last five on their travels we can only see the hosts taking the points here.
