Manchester United just about win in the week and Harry Maguire scored the goal. I’m glad for him because he’s not suddenly become a bad player. He’s not the quickest in the world but if you can get someone next to him it’ll be effective because he attacks the ball really well.
I love stories like that, when people get slaughtered and come back and probe prove people wrong but they’re up against Manchester City who almost swept Brighton away in the first half last week, it could have been three, four or five nil in the but it only ended up being 2-1. It was a comfortable win though.
I think they’ll be comfortable again here and I fancy City to Win 2-0. I’ll be fascinated to see how Manchester United line up in this game as I just think United are better playing against City away from home. They certainly score more goals anyway.
When City come to Old Trafford they just absolutely dominate the ball and, with United at the moment, the three departments of the team are all separate and they’re not cohesive. If you’re like that against City they just pick you off so I don’t think United will score.

With Erling Haaland I think there are two things that make him so dangerous. Obviously it’s the quality of the service which he gets in abundance and he’s not frightened to miss either. If he misses a chance another will be along in five minutes.
People are talking about a drought, he’s got nine in nine this season. I’ve heard people saying he’s not the same as last year, well he certainly is and he’s still scoring loads and he’ll probably end up with ‘just’ the 50-odd goals again.
I like the new lad Rasmus Hojlund for United. He’s big and quick and I think he’s going to be a really, really good player. It’s early days for him and he’s in a team that are just doing okay. He’d have had 10 goals by now in United teams of years gone by.
There will be cards in here, you can get cards for all kinds of things now and the booking numbers have gone through the roof. I think there will be plenty and I think Erik ten Hag would want to know why there isn’t if there aren’t as they’re the underdogs at home in a big derby match.
