12.30pm: Liverpool v Everton

TV: TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate

This is the only game of the weekend! Yes, Liverpool should be confident going into this as we’ve lost only one of 22 in all competitions. Liverpool are doing well.

Don’t forget, this is an Everton side who are just beginning to pick up. A few Evertonians are starting to sound a little more confident here on Merseyside because they’ve won three of the last four in all competitions.

But they’ve won only two of their last 18 away games in the Premier League so they’re not so good away from Goodison. They did win at Brentford the other week ,though.

This Liverpool side though, this is why I think it’ll be Both Teams To Score, they have conceded the opening goal in five of their last eight league games. That is a big indicator.

Liverpool have won all five home games in all competitions this season, scoring 14 goals. I fancy Liverpool to Win this and I’m going 3-1 so Both Teams To Score.

I’ve also got Mo Salah to Score Anytime in my Bet Builder which I do think will pay. I fancy Dominik Szoboszlai To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target, he’s had a fantastic start to his Liverpool career.

I do think Ashley Young isn’t getting any younger. He’ll be up against Luiz Diaz who will enjoy the atmosphere at Anfield, so Young to be Shown A Card.

3pm: Newcastle v Crystal Palace

TV: Premier Sports 1

Newcastle are in a good vein of form. If you think back to earlier in the season there was a little murmur about Eddie Howe but everything is now rosy in the garden -and what a win against Paris St-Germain!

They’re unbeaten in four Premier League games now and they’ve scored 20 goals. Only Brighton have scored more than the Toon on 21. Newcastle have won five of their six games in all competitions at home with only Liverpool beating them. Alexander Isak has scored in his last three league games but we’ll come to that in a minute.

What about Crystal Palace? They’re not bad, are they? They’ve had three clean sheets in their last three games but two of those ended 0-0. This is not going to be a goal fest and Palace have lost just one of their last six Premier League games. I’m going for Newcastle to Win this one 2-0 so Both Teams To Score? No.

He’s on that good run of form I spoke about so it’s Isak to Score Anytime. I’ve also got Miguel Almiron to Have 1 Or More Shots On Target in my Bet Builder and I fancy Joachim Andersen to be Shown A Card for Palace in this game.

Mikel Arteta

5.30pm: Chelsea v Arsenal

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

This is a big game for Arsenal and they’ll be coming into this full of confidence. Maybe people will think Chelsea should as well after beating Burnley 4-1.

In that Burnley game, Chelsea only had nine shots and they scored four goals. They’ve not been scoring loads so maybe that’s a turning point. Chelsea have won their last two, but they’ve only won two of the previous 18 before that so maybe we can’t get caried away.

They’ve lost two Premier League home games this season, both of them 1-0, so their form is fluctuating. Arsenal, they are unbeaten this season in the league and they’ve got the joint-best defence, only conceding six. They’re unbeaten in their last 15 London derbies winning 11 and drawing four! They’re not feeling the pressure in these derbies but they have so many down in London.

They’ve picked up three clean sheets in their three away games this season but I’m expecting that run to end here. Chelsea did score four last time out so I’m going for Arsenal to Win 2-1 and Both Teams To Score.

It’s a toss up but as Bukayo Saka didn’t feature during the international break I’m going to go for Gabriel Martinelli to Score Anytime and for Martin Odegaard to Have 1 Or More Shots On Target.

For Chelsea I’ve got Raheem Sterling in my Bet Builder. He’s been in great form and I don’t know why he’s not in the England squad but I’ve got Sterling to Have 1 Or More Shots On Target as well.
