We’ve got plenty of Premier League action to get stuck into on Sunday and we’re focusing on the 2pm games. However, instead of a generic bet, we’re putting together a tasty anytime goalscorer acca for you lucky lot!
Our first selection is a pretty obvious one – Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool winger has gone under the radar this season, however, he’s already scored four times and chipped in with four assists in all competitions.
Salah is shoot on sight in the Premier League and his shot tally for this campaign reads: 3, 5, 2, 4, 1, 5, 1.
The Egyptian faces Brighton, who are yet to keep a clean sheet this season in all competitions, and they’re also without their first choice left-back Pervis Estupinan.
Salah will likely be running at Tariq Lamptey, who has managed just two full 90-minute games this campaign. He should have an enjoyable Sunday on the coast!
Darwin Nunez to Score Anytime
Next up is Salah’s Liverpool team-mate Darwin Nunez.
Like Salah, Nunez has netted four times in the Premier League and the Europa League, while also registering a couple of assists.
In Nunez’s two Premier League starts this season, he’s had eight shots, and the Uruguay international will definitely start with Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo out through injury and suspension respectively.
Nunez will relish playing against Brighton’s wide-open defence and the Seagulls’ high line will suit the Liverpool forward perfectly.
From Brighton to east London now as West Ham host Newcastle – and we like Jarrod Bowen to Score Anytime.
The winger has been brilliant for the Hammers this season and he’s netted in five of his seven league appearances.
Apart from West Ham’s defeat against Manchester City, Bowen has has at least two shots in every game. He’s even registered six shots in two of his Premier League matches.
Bowen is in fine form and he’ll be full of confidence after receiving an England call-up for the October games.
He’ll also be up against Dan Burn, who isn’t blessed with pace to keep up with Bowen, and we all know Newcastle had the high of beating PSG in the Champions League in the week. Bowen can catch the Toon out.
Our final pick is in a Midlands derby between Wolves and Aston Villa – and we fancy Ollie Watkins to Score Anytime.
The Villa man is coming into the Wolves clash on the back of his hat-trick against Brighton last weekend so he’s another player who will be full of confidence.
Watkins’ shot tally in the Premier League reads: 2, 1, 5, 2, 4, 2, 6. He’ll expect to get on the scoresheet against a Wolves side who have conceded 13 times in their seven appearances.
