Everton v Bournemouth
Everton to have 6 or more Shots on Target
This is a huge game for Everton. There are no two ways about it. Sean Dyche’s side have made an absolutely awful start to the season, especially at home where they have lost four out of four, scoring just one goal.
What’s more, Everton haven’t even had a particularly difficult start to the season, playing just two sides who are likely to finish in the top ten.
With a horrible run of fixtures coming up after the international break, Everton simply must beat fellow strugglers Bournemouth at home on Saturday. Bournemouth are winless after seven games and seem to be really struggling under new manager Andoni Iraola.
The Cherries have conceded 15 goals in seven games and have faced a whopping 17.4 shots per game, the third-highest record in the Premier League. In desperate need of a win, Everton are likely to pepper the Bournemouth goal with shots on Saturday afternoon.
Everton’s poor home form hasn’t been for want of trying. Dyche’s side have attempted 65 shots in their four home games this season, registering 22 shots on target. There is every chance that they hit the target at least six times against a defensively porous Bournemouth outfit.
Burnley v Chelsea
Chelsea to Commit 11 or more Fouls
This is also a huge game for Chelsea, who face a daunting run of games after the international break. Mauricio Pochettino’s side secured a vital win against Fulham on Monday night and should be full of confidence ahead of Saturday’s trip to Turf Moor, but Burnley’s tails will also be up after Vincent Kompany’s side claimed their first win of the season at Luton on Tuesday.
Chelsea boast the second-worst disciplinary record in the league, picking up 22 yellow cards and one red card over seven games so far. Their fouls per game record is a little better, with Pochettino’s side committing 11.4 fouls per game and ranking as the eighth-worst in the league.
Considering Saturday’s game is such an important game for both sides, there are likely to be plenty of niggly fouls throughout the game and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Chelsea at least match their fouls per game average.

Fulham v Sheffield United
Both Teams to Score, No
It already looks bleak for Sheffield United, who have just one point after seven games and have been stuffed 8-0 in one of those games.
The Blades were unlucky earlier in the season, losing against Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, and Spurs courtesy of very late goals, but their performances against Newcastle and West Ham in their two most recent games have left a lot to be desired.
Fulham, meanwhile, have made a fairly unremarkable start to the season, taking eight points from their opening seven games and scoring just five goals in the process. At least one team has drawn a blank in five of Fulham’s seven games this season and that is likely to be the case when Sheffield United come to town.
Manchester United v Brentford
Rasmus Hojlund to Score
Rasmus Hojlund was the one bright spot for Manchester United after Tuesday’s embarrassing 2-3 home defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League. Hojlund already looks the real deal and looks capable of scoring plenty of goals this season, even for a side as dysfunctional as United.
He picks up great positions and boasts an excellent eye for goal and will hope to score his first Premier League goal when an underwhelming Brentford side visit Old Trafford on Saturday. Brentford have won just once in the Premier League this season, beating 10-man Fulham in the second game of the season.
United – and Hojlund – will hope that they can take advantage and secure a much-needed win on Saturday.
Casemiro to have 2 or more Shots
Casemiro’s sending off against Galatasaray was his difficult start to the season in a microcosm. Sold short by one of his teammates, Casemiro’s flaws were also exposed when he decided to take one for the team and leave United with 10 men for 20 minutes.
Casemiro has often been isolated in the United midfield, but he is not blameless and has looked leggy in the opening games of the season. Going forward, however, he has been excellent and is United’s top scorer in all competitions with four goals. The Brazilian midfielder has often looked like United’s most dangerous player, flashing a shot wide against Crystal Palace in the 1-0 defeat last week and trying his luck on several occasions against Galatasaray.
He averages two shots per game in the league and 2.5 per game in the Champions League. There is every chance he matches that average on Saturday.
