Ranger to Win
Steven Davis’ big break in management comes as he sits in for Michael Beale who was given his final cue cards over the weekend. Rangers have actually won four of their last five fixtures but with Celtic pulling away in the Premiership, they might already be snookered.
Regardless, Davis inherits a team who haven’t gelled so far but are, at least, scoring goals and winning. Aris haven’t won any of their last four games but will no doubt up their game with a big name coming to town. The away side have kept four clean sheets over their last five as well so the Glasgow side should be taking the three points here.
Freiburg v West Ham

Freiburg have little to fear here, they’ve played eight games this season and have only tasted defeat on two occasions. They’ve only played three home games this season however, winning two and losing one, scoring five and conceding four, all in the same game in a loss to Borussia Dortmund.
West Ham have won three and lost two of their last five while on their recent travels have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring eight and conceding six. Both teams will surely be scoring here.
Jarrod Bowen to Score
Jarrod Bowen was a wee goalmine for us last season in Europe, he scored six goals over West Ham’s march towards European silverware and already has five in seven for the Hammers this season. With four of them coming in his last five away games he has to be in out Bet Builder.

Marseille v Brighton

You’d have to expect a strong response from Robert De Zerbi’s Brighton after being beaten 1-0 away to Chelsea and then getting spanked 6-1 away to Aston Villa over the weekend. So, they’ve lost two of their last five on the road and they’ve won their two prior away games, they were against Man United and Wolves and you have to ask how much do those wins actually count.
Marseille are in bad shape, they’ve won none of their last five fixtures, drawing three and losing two, scoring six and conceding 11. Both teams need a win though, Marseille drew their first Europa League game with Ajax while Brighton lost at home to AEK Athens.
Both are scoring and conceding plenty though so we’re fully expecting both teams scoring here and at least a third goal so we’re going with Overs.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to have 1 or more Shots on Target
Former Arsenal and Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hasn’t scored in Ligue Un since signing for Marseille over the summer but he’s scored three in three in European competition. He’s a headache to play against and Brighton don’t really seem to have much interest in keeping clean sheets so while we could back him to score, we’ll take the safer option and back him to land at least one shot on target.
Sporting v Atalanta

In what is surely the tie of the early kickoffs, Sporting host Atalanta in Group D with both teams having won their opening games. The hosts have won seven of their eight games this season, drawing the other one. Atalanta have lost just two of their eight games this season.
Both teams are obviously in good form then, the hosts have scored nine over their last four at home with the Serie A side scoring six on their recent travels. Both Teams to Score is the value option here.
