Monday 8pm: Fulham v Chelsea Premier League match at Craven Cottage TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
It’s incredible what’s happening at Chelsea. The money that they’ve spent, you’d have thought they’d be doing much better. Everybody kept saying, ‘Where’s the centre forward?’
They were reluctant to get one, they’ve got about four choices for the left side and four on the right but Nicolas Jackson has taken on the burden of being the striker and they have struggled to score goals.
They’ve got just five points from six games, their worse start since 1978/79 and I remember it because we were absolutely smashing it when I was playing for Liverpool in the First Division – when football was proper!
Anyway, Fulham have had an identical start to last season with two wins, two draws and two defeats. They’ve kept a clean sheet in their last two which will make Marco Silva very happy.
Chelsea’s only win this season was against Luton and that’s their only win in their last 10 Premier League games so they’ve been struggling like mad and they’re just above Everton in the Premier League!
They’ve only scored five from six games, they’ve lost 13 of their last 19 away games in all competitions. This might shock a few people but, given the way Chelsea have been playing, I’m going for Fulham to Win this one – just. I’ve got Carlos Vinicius to Score Anytime.
For Chelsea I fancy Raheem Sterling To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target and it’s a derby game so I think it will be quite meaty in the middle of the pitch. As such, I’m going for Moises Caicedo To Be Shown A Card.
