Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals
Previous editions of this all-Welsh Championship affair have pretty much been one-sided. Swansea have won seven of the last 10 with Cardiff winning the two and one ending level. What’s quite astonishing however is that in eight of those nine games only one team scored. This is quite the anomaly in football, especially in a derby and we shouldn’t see it occurring here.
Cardiff have scored in all seven of their fixtures this season, scoring at least two goals in five of them while the Swans have also scored in all seven of their matches thus far and have scored two in four of those seven. Results haven’t been great for either side but in front of goal both are scoring a decent amount. They are obviously also conceding quite a few so we should see both scoring and at least a third goal here.
Over 5.5 Cards
Obviously enough these are feisty matches. Over their last five meetings at both grounds we’ve seen 26 cards doled out while at matches at the Cardiff City Stadium, we’ve seen 28 cards given out. Only one of the five previous games played here have seen less than five cards and that was back in 2013.
Both sides really need to start putting wins on the board, neither side have started the season in great shape. Add in the fact that this is a late kick-off and the home crowd are very much going to be up for this. We could quite easily see seven or even eight cards here but we’re playing it a bit safer in going for at least six bookings.

Millwall v Leeds
Sunday, 12:00pm
The Den
TV: Sky Sports Main Event/Football
Halftime 0-0
Like the above game, neither side can be too happy with how their respective seasons have begun. Millwall have won just one of their last five in all competitions, while Leeds have also won just one of their last five. The Lions have scored in the first half in just one of their home games so far this season, Leeds share the same stat on their travels.
Early kickoffs in both the Championship and the Premier League can be very slow to start and with both struggling to hit barn doors of late we reckon it’s going to be 0-0 at the break.
Under 2.5 Goals
We’ve seen Under 2.5 Goals in four of Millwall’s five Championship games this season, over which they’ve scored a grand total of four goals. We’ve also seen Unders in three of Leeds’ five league fixtures. Daniel Farke’s side have scored seven goals over those five games but we actually kept scoreless in two of them.
We just cannot see many goals being scored here, we’re unlikely to see more than two so we’re going with Unders.
