12:30pm: Wolves v Liverpool

TV: TNT Sports

Without my ‘LFC’ hat on, I still have Liverpool to win this one. They’ve won their last three in the league, scoring eight goals. If you go back further they’ve scored in their last 14 league games scoring 36 goals in the process. And they boss the ‘head-to-head’ with Wolves do the Reds, winning 12 of the last 13 meetings.

The one they lost Wolves fans will remember was the 3-0 win they had at Molineux last season. They were the lowest scorers last season and have lost three of the opening four games. They haven’t done enough to address their problems scoring goals. The only game they played at home this season they played Brighton and lost 4-1.

So I’m going Liverpool to Win this.

I’m going Both Teams To Score as well. Liverpool have still looked shaky at the back, Virgil van Dijk is suspended of course so Wolves can get one, I think this will be 3-1 to Liverpool.
I’m going for Mo Salah to Score Anytime in this game. He’s in great form with goals and assists already this season.

I’ve also got Darwin Nunez to Have 2 Or More Shots On Target – if you know and follow Nunez, you’d know that he likes to get a shot in from anywhere.

Finally I’m going with Nelson Semedo to Commit 2 or More Fouls. He’s been booked in his last two games and will have his hands full so I’m going with him to get two fouls at least.

3:00pm: Man Utd v Brighton

TV: Premier Sports (Rep of Ireland)

This is a difficult one, it’s been a tough international break for Man Utd with all the talk about Antony, Harry Maguire and Jadon Sancho. But they do have good home form. They’re unbeaten in 31 home games in all competitions.

Brighton are a great team to watch, top scorers in the Premier League. This is a really tough one to call. Brighton will score, they’ve scored in all but one of their last 32 league games, and in each of the last 20.

So they will score, but I’m going with Man Utd to Win this, just.

I’m going with Marcus Rashford to Score, Bruno Fernandes to Have 1+ Shot on Target & Evan Ferguson to Have 1+ Shot on Target as well.

I think Evan will recover from his injury – the Republic of Ireland missed him greatly during the international break, he scored a hat-trick against Newcastle before that and I think he’ll play in this one.

5.30pm: Newcastle v Brentford

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Newcastle’s confidence has been dented. They beat Aston Villa 5-1 on the opening day, but did they get carried away with that win? It wasn’t a 5-1 game.

Since then it’s been three defeats on the trot. They’ve only had one clean sheet. Last season, at the start of the season they were keeping them all the time, but it’s only one now in the last 15 games.

The Magpies did win both fixtures against Brentford last season though. They are unbeaten this season, with one win and three draws, and are unbeaten in their last seven league games, so I think this will be tight but Newcastle to Win 2-1, so I’ll add Both Teams to Score here.

Alexander Isak should be on the scoresheet.

In terms of players to have Shots on Target I’m going to go with Bruno Guimaraes for Newcastle and Bryan Mbuemo for Brentford he’s been very lively this season with a couple of goals already.
