Tuesday 7.45pm: Scotland v England International friendly at Hampden Park, Glasgow TV: Channel 4
Friendly? It’s going to be anything but! Hampden Park is going to be absolutely bouncing! I used to go to the home international championship against Scotland every year. The ones at Wembley were good… but the ones at Hampden! Oh my goodness.
This is massive, this Scotland team are doing so well and they’re unbeaten in eight. Their last defeat was against Ireland 3-0 in Dublin. In their qualifying group they’ve won four out of four and are sitting top.
They’ve had some great wins, certainly the one in the last minute against Norway but the 2-0 win over Spain was absolutely terrific. England have scored 11 in their last two games and have only had one defeat in 10 and that was to France in the World Cup quarter finals.
I am expecting goals, England seem to score at will so I think they’ll win this but Scotland have been rejuvenated in these last 12 months or so. I’m backing a goal fest, I fancy England to Win 3-2 so Over 2.5 Goals.
I like Harry Kane to Score Anytime and for Lyndon Dykes also to Sore Anytime for Scotland.
Jude Bellingham has been rampaging and ripping it up in Spain at the Bernabeu for Real Madrid. I expect Bellingham to Have 1 or More Shots on Target.
