We’ve got plenty of Euro 2024 qualifying action to get stuck into on Sunday night and we’re checking out Republic of Ireland v Netherlands first. Ireland need a result if they are to have any hope of finishing second in Group B behind France, who have won all five of their qualifiers.
Netherlands, who are currently second in the group, come into this on the back of their impressive 3-0 win against Greece on Thursday night.
We’re not going to pick a winner in this considering how desperate Ireland are for the win but Netherlands obviously have more class than their counterparts. We’re on Netherlands to Have 5 or More Shots on Target, which has landed in their last five games in all competitions.
Both Teams to Score
Netherlands are the most likely winner but Ireland will fancy their chances of getting a goal and causing a few problems, especially in front of their home crowd. Ireland are desperate for a result and they’ll be at it from the first whistle on Sunday night.
Both Teams to Score has landed in six of their last eight games in all competitions and we expect that trend to continue.
Cody Gakpo to Score Anytime
We’re obviously expecting Netherlands to have a few chances and score at least once – and Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo seems the most likely to net. The forward scored in their win against Greece in the week and he was substituted after 65 minutes, meaning he’ll likely start in Dublin.
Gakpo has had five shots in his two Euro 2024 qualifiers so we know he’s shoot on sight under Ronald Koeman. Gakpo to Score Anytime makes sense.

Lithuania v Serbia
Serbia (-1)
Next up is Lithuania v Serbia, with the away side the heavy favourites to win on Sunday night. Serbia lost against Hungary on Thursday, however, they’ll welcome a drop down in level of opposition in the 144th-ranked Lithuania.
Serbia are second in Group G and they will be well aware they need a commanding victory to boost their confidence and close the gap on Hungary. Backing Serbia to win at the odds is pointless so we’re on the Serbia (-1) Handicap. The scoreline finished 2-0 to Serbia last time these sides met and a repeat of that will see this Bet Builder selection land.
Aleksandar Mitrovic to Score Anytime
We’re backing Serbia to net at least two times so chucking in Aleksandar Mitrovic to Score Anytime makes plenty of sense. The former Fulham man, who now plays in Saudi Arabia for Al Hilal with Neymar, has netted 52 goals in his 82 appearances for his country.
Mitrovic netted a hat-trick in his last league game for Al Hilal so he’s got his eye in. He can add to his tally with an Anytime Goal for Serbia on Sunday.
Greece v Gibraltar
Greece (-2)
Finally, we’re focusing on Greece v Gibraltar. Greece are battling with Netherlands and Ireland to finish second behind France in Group B, so the home side know they need an emphatic win against Gibraltar, who are at the bottom of the table.
Gibraltar have lost all four of their Euro 2024 qualifiers while conceding 12 times in the process but it’s not worth backing Greece to win at the odds. Greece beat Gibraltar 3-0 when they last met in March and a repeat of that scoreline would see our Greece (-2) Handicap selection land.
