Saturday 3:00pm: Man City v Fulham
Erling Haaland to score 2 or more goals
Okay – I’m hardly reinventing the wheel with my first selection I can admit that. But there’s nothing boring about a winner right?
Questions have been asked how Erling Haaland will cope without the services of City’s star playmaker Kevin De Bruyne. He’s done fine. Last week against Sheffield United, Haaland scored one, but in truth could’ve scored four or five goals. That’s not an exaggeration. The Norwegian juggernaut missed a penalty and a host of chances you would usually expect him to score.
Surely he can’t go two games in a row missing those sorts of chances!
Thankfully for him, he’s coming up against a Fulham side who have conceded the most amount of xG in the league so far this season so he should get plenty of chances. Fulham did will to get a point at The Emirates last season but City won’t switch off like Arsenal did.
I’m expecting City to score four or five goals at least and you wouldn’t bet against Haaland getting at least a brace if they do. There’s better value in backing him to score two goals or more than on City on the -2 handicap.
Sunday 2:00pm: Crystal Palace v Wolves
Hugo Bueno to commit 2 or more fouls
I don’t have a huge opinion on the result of this game but I do like a player in the fouls market. When previewing Crystal Palace matches I always ask myself “who is marking Jordan Ayew?”
The Crystal Palace striker is a handful for opposition defences without having huge numbers in terms of goals and assists. He was the most fouled player in the Premier League last season and has picked up where he left off, being the most fouled player across the opening three games.

So who’s the lucky Wolves player marking Ayew this weekend? It should be Hugo Bueno the Portuguese left back. He started last week at Everton ahead of Ait-Nouri who also played in the League Cup during the week so Bueno should be in from the start for this game.
He’s worth putting into a betslip to commit 1 or more fouls, but I can’t get away for a bigger price on him to commit 2 or more fouls. This is my nap of the weekend!
Sunday 4:30pm: Arsenal v Man Utd
Arsenal to win & Both teams to score
Arsenal- Man Utd is always one of my favorite fixtures in the season.
Perhaps the pizza throwing, headbutts and tunnel scuffles are a thing of the past, but it is a fixture that always entertains on the pitch at the very least.
Both sides have perhaps being less than convincing across the opening couple of weekends despite each picking up two wins from their three games. Mikel Arteta has made lots of changes such as dropping Gabriel out and having Thomas Partey in an inverted right-back role.
Any move for Gabriel away from the club hasn’t materialized so he should be back in the starting XI along side William Saliba at the back, a partnership which worked so well for Arsenal last season.
Arsenal are unlucky not to have maximum points after switching off against Fulham last weekend when conceding but Man Utd have been even less convincing than the Gunners so far this season.
Huge pressure will be on Rasmus Hojlund to deliver when he returns from injury and he may be included in the travelling party to The Emirates on Sunday.
No matter who plays for either side, expect an entertaining fixture with goals, and the result usually goes in the way of the home side which is why I’m going with Arsenal to win and both teams to score to round off our treble.
