First up is Chesterfield v Hartlepool, which sees fourth host first.

Hartlepool are flying so far this season and they’ve won four of their five outings, while also scoring 13 times.

Chesterfield, who are the favourites to win the National League this campaign, were unbeaten until their 2-1 defeat at Altrincham on Saturday, with Dior Angus netting a 94th-minute winner.

Both sides are in fine form so we’re going to steer clear of picking a winner. Instead, we’re on Over 2.5 Goals.

Eastleigh v Aldershot is the televised game on Monday afternoon and the home side, who are in the relegation zone, are still in search of their first win of the season (drawn three, lost two).

Aldershot, meanwhile, are 13th following their 3-1 victory against Wealdstone on Saturday.

We’re on the hunt for goals again in this one so we’re backing Over 2.5 Goals, which has landed in three of Aldershot’s five league games.

Aldershot have scored 10 and conceded 11 this season, with their matches averaging 4.2 goals per game. Eastleigh’s average is 2.4 goals so it seems a smart pick.

FC Halifax Town v Gateshead

Next up is Halifax Town v Gateshead, which sees seventh host tenth.

The sides are separated by a point in the league and they have very similar records. Instead of trying to pick the winner, Both Teams to Score is the best bet.

BTTS has landed in all of Gateshead’s five games as well as in Halifax’s last three outings.

Gateshead have scored 12 and conceded 10 to have a goals-per-game average of 4.4. Let’s hope that continues!

Woking v Dorking Wanderers

Woking to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Woking v Dorking Wanderers sees our only selection where we’re picking the outcome of the game – and we fancy a home win.

Woking, who finished fourth in the National League last season but lost in the playoffs, come into Monday’s clash on the back of their impressive 3-1 win at Gateshead on Saturday.

They’re 12th in the league after winning two of their last three and they face a Dorking side who have won just once so far this campaign.

Dorking have lost both of their away games and conceded seven times in the process so we like Woking to Win.

We’re also chucking in Over 2.5 Goals, which has landed in eight of their 10 games combined. Dorking’s games this season have averaged 3.8 goals, while Woking’s tally is 3.2.

AFC Fylde v Altrincham
