Saturday 3:00pm: Arsenal v Fulham
Arsenal -2 hdcp.
Arsenal will take huge confidence into this game after their hard fought win over Crystal Palace on Monday night.
The Gunners haven’t been at their best across their opening two games but crucially have maximum points on the board. This game against Fulham provides a real opportunity for Arsenal to make a statement win and go three wins from three ahead of the visit of Manchester Utd the following week.
The red half of North London couldn’t have picked better opponents to play this weekend as they welcome a Fulham side who, to be blunt, have been all over the place at the back at the start of this season.
It was a near miracle that they managed to keep a clean sheet against Everton on the opening day – although it was Everton, that might make sense.. more about them later.
They were all over the place at the back at Goodison Park and against a better team last weekend in Brentford, they were punished as they conceded three goals at home in a heavy defeat.
Arsenal can take advantage of this leaky Fulham defence and beat Fulham by at least three goals.
Saturday 3:00pm: Everton v Wolves
Draw
Both sides are under the serious threat of relegation this season with underwhelming transfer windows so far. Last weekend both were heavily beaten and this game has a six pointer feel about it already.
Everton have failed to score in their opening two games while Wolves have barely done better with a single consolation goal to their name. Where are the goals coming from for either team?

The lack of goals in both teams makes the draw a real runner for this fixture. The last six times these sides have played each other, neither team has won by more than a single goal so they’ve always been close affairs.
A draw probably does neither team much use but it’d be a first point of the season for both and if the game is a draw with 20 minutes or so to go, I can’t envisage either team going all out for the win.
Saturday 15:00pm: Brentford v Crystal Palace
Bryan Mbuemo to score
What a start to the season Bryan Mbuemo has had. He’s scored three goals in his opening two games and is flourishing in being given the responsibility of leading the line for the Bees.
He is now Brentford’s penalty taker and two of his goals have come from the spot this season. He’s played the full 90 (or 100+!) minutes in each of Brentford’s opening two games and is likely to have plenty of chances to add to his tally for the season on Saturday.
Brentford had one of the best home records in the league last season, losing just twice and should be good value for another win this weekend at The Brentford Community stadium. For us we’re not relying on Brentford though, just Bryan Mbuemo to score anytime to round off the weekly treble!
