I don’t think Mikel Arteta will be looking forward to this game. Not because of the football side of it, but he’s lost all four away Premier League games he’s been in charge of on a Monday night!

This is a different Arsenal we’re seeing now and last season they had the best away record in the Premier League and that takes something, doesn’t it, when you’ve got Manchester City to compete with. They won 39 points on the road in 2022/23.

However, they only won one of their final five away games last season. I do expect them to turn that recent form around. Crystal Palace, what a job Roy Hodgson’s done. It’s quite unbelievable how he’s turned things around while lowering the age of the squad.

They’ve won six of Hodgson’s 11 games. Last week against Sheffield United they had 24 goal attempts and that is the most ever for Palace since the Opta rankings started. We’re seeing a different Palace side but I have to fancy Arsenal to Win to kick off my Bet Builder with Both Teams To Score as well, I’ll say 3-1 to Arsenal.

I fancy Bukayo Saka to Score Anytime. He started the season well for me last week and I do fancy him because he takes the penalties and that should always be on people’s minds when placing a goal-scorer bet. I’ve also got Martin Odegaard to Have 1 or More Shots On Target.
