Chelsea drew with Liverpool and West Ham shared the spoils with Bournemouth as well on the opening day. What did we make of Chelsea? For 20-25 minutes Liverpool ran riot and if that second goal from Mo Salah had been allowed that might have had a big say in changing the outcome.

I’ve got a feeling that there’s some confidence coming back with Chelsea, particularly in that second half. If you look at it, they only won one of the final 12 Premier League games last season and they’ve not kept a clean sheet in 10 games.

I know this is going back to last year but they’ve only won two of their last 17 games in all competitions. They’ve not been great on the road, but I think they’re going to rectify that, I really do.

I’m backing Chelsea to just edge this because West Ham are still finding their feet. They had a wonderful European campaign last season but they lost the opening three games last season so they are slow starters. I fancy Chelsea to Win this one.

I’m going for Chelsea to win 2-1 so Both Teams To Score and in my Bet Builder I’ll have Nicolas Jackson to Score Anytime.

I’ve been quite impressed with him, he gets into goal-scoring positions, he just needs to finish them. A man who had a good second half against Liverpool was Raheem Sterling so I’ve got Sterling to Have 1 or More Shots on Target. Finally it’s Kurt Zouma, the ex-Chelsea man, I think he’ll be up for this game. I fancy Zouma to Commit 2 or More Fouls in this game.
