Ludogorets v Astana – Both Teams to Score? No
Huvepharma Arena, Razgrad, 7pm
It’s advantage Astana going into the second leg of this Europa League Qualifier as the Kazakh side lead 2-1 on aggregate. They’re also further into their league campaign, sitting in third after 18 games while the Bulgarians have played four league games and four European fixtures.
Astana had no business winning last week, it was their first win in five games and the hosts are undefeated over their last nine at home and have conceded just one goal over their last five. They should keep a clean sheet here so the smart money is going on a Both Teams to Score? No pick.
Genk v Olympiakos – Over 2.5 Goals
Cegeka Arena, Genk, 7pm
Olympiakos lead 0-1 on aggregate coming into this second leg in Belgium. For the hosts this will be their sixth game while for the Greeks this will only be their second game of the season. What immediately jumps off the stats page is that Both Teams to Score has landed in seven of Genk’s last eight on home soil. The away side have scored in five of their last seven on their travels.
Genk have to throw the proverbial at them here meaning they’ll leave space at the back, both should score but so much on the line we’re likely to see at least three goals.

Derry City v Tobol – Over 2.5 Goals
Tallaght Stadium, Dublin, 7:45pm
Last week’s game in Kazakhstan saw the Irish side losing 1-0 but they are favourites to do the business at Shamrock Rovers’ home ground, Tallaght Stadium on Thursday night. The Candystripes are in good form, winning four of their last six games, drawing one and losing one.
Tobol are no pushovers, they’ve won two of their last five on the road, beating Basel 1-3 in Switzerland, drawing one and losing two, scoring five and conceding six. With Derry scoring 12 over those six games we should see Over 2.5 Goals here too.
Hearts v Rosenborg – Rosenborg and Draw
Tynecastle Park, Edinburgh, 7:45pm
Hearts were 2-1 losers last week in Norway and are just under Evens with the market to win here. It might be a tough night though, the Edinburghers have played three games this season, winning just one while Rosenborg are 18 games into their domestic season.
The away side have scored seven over their last five on their travels while Hearts have scored just three goals over their last five home competitive fixtures. Of Hearts’ four friendlies they only scored in two so you have to wonder where they are going to get any goals from. Taking the away side on the Double Chance has the value here.
Luzern v Hibernian – Luzern to Win
Swissporarena, Luzern, 7:45pm
Hibs were convincing winners over their Swiss opponents last week at Easter Road and with a two goal cushion they’re going to do their best to sit back and soak up anything Luzern can fire their way.
The hosts have won one, drawn three and lost one of their last five home competitive fixtures however Hibs do have something to fear here, they’ve shipped nine goals over their five games this season so you’d have to expect Luzern to score one or two meaning they’re the most likely to win the tie.
