Pipe down Rangers fans, this is in 90 minutes! I’m sure ye can qualify through the tie after extra time…

The Gers take a slender lead with them to Switzerland having won the first leg 2-1 in Ibrox last week. I’m not sure if this will be enough for them to progress through this tie. Their away form in Europe is poor, winning one and losing seven of their last eight European away matches.

Servette only lost once at home in the Swiss league last season and can take this game to extra time at least with a win in 90 minutes.

Rangers front three of Danilo, Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers were unleashed against Kilmarnock in an emphatic 4-0 win at the weekend to get Rangers season underway in earnest. Dessers scored in the first leg last week and the front three have started to gel since their arrivals in the summer.

Expect plenty of goals shared between the three in the SPL this season and they’re sure to be a threat on Tuesday evening and can get on the scoresheet.

Over 4.5 cards

I’m always a fan of looking at card markets in second-leg knockout ties. Towards the end of the tie’s there’s so much on the line when teams are chasing goals or defending leads for their lives. If the tie looks to be slipping from either teams grasps, frustration can often kick in and lead to some ill-timed challenges or lashes out.

Teams holding on for leads may get booked for timewasting, kicking the ball away, or tactical fouls that simply had to be made. This tie is nicely poised for tempers to flare and cards to be issued.

Home total corners over 5.5

Servette will be on the front foot from the off here, chasing the goal they need to tie up this game. Expect them to rack up a couple of early corners. The longer they go without finding the net, the more likely they are to increase the corner count.

Hopefully they’ve a couple corners on the board before they find the net for our bet builder.

To score or to be shown a card – James Tavernier

I’m expecting goals and cards in this match so a nice pick for this market is James Tavernier. The Rangers right back should be on set-piece duties including penalties for Rangers.

At the other end of the pitch he’ll be tasked with stopping Servette going forward and can be susceptible to late challenges in breaking up counter attacks. One of these could lead to a card.
