We’ve got Champions League Qualifiers and English Football League Cup action to get stuck into on Tuesday night and our first game in focus is Olimpija v Galatasaray.
Galatasaray travel to Slovenia for the first leg of their clash and the Turkish champions should have more than enough quality to beat Joao Henriques’s side.
Olimpija impressed in the last round when beating Ludogorets, however, they have conceded in seven of their last eight games in all competitions.
Galatasaray will fancy their chances of netting a couple of times to give themselves a lead heading into the second leg next week.
Over 2.5 Goals
We’re also on Over 2.5 Goals in this one.
We’re confident of Galatasaray scoring at least once, however, Olimpija will also like their chances of finding the back of the net.
The Slovenian side have scored in their last 14 games in all competitions and Over 2.5 Goals has landed in seven of Olimpija’s last eight games.
We’re sticking with the Champions League action in Braga v FK Backa Topola.
Braga, who finished third in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season behind Benfica and Porto, host Serbian side Backa Topola.
The home side should have far too much quality for their counterparts, however, backing a Braga win at the odds is pointless.
Instead, we’re siding with Braga -1 on the Handicap. Artur Jorge’s side will win by at least two goals and if you’re feeling extra brave you can chuck -2 in!
We’re moving from the Champions League to the EFL Cup now as Wrexham and Wigan face off in Tuesday’s televised game.
Wrexham’s return to the Football League didn’t go to plan on the weekend as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s side were beaten 5-3 at home against MK Dons.
Wigan, meanwhile, pulled off an impressive 2-1 win at Derby on Saturday afternoon.
Although both sides could put out weaker teams than their league outings, there’s value in backing the Double Chance of Wigan And Draw.
Wrexham are without their star striker Paul Mullin, who is recovering from injury in America, and Wigan have enough quality for Tuesday’s clash to finish at least level.
Over 2.5 Goals
We also like the look of Over 2.5 Goals.
One known fact is that Wrexham’s games always have goals, regardless of who they are playing.
They netted a stunning 116 times in their 46 National League games last season and there were eight goals in their League Two opener at the weekend.
Wrexham always go for it in front of their home fans at the Racecourse Ground and we can expect more of the same on Tuesday.
