Dortmund v Heidenheim

Westfalenstadion, 7:30pm
TV: Sky Sports Football

Dortmund -1
Dortmund haven’t exactly set the world alight over their three games so far, they did thrash Schott Mainz 1-6 in the DFB Pokal but have since beaten Koln 1-0 and drew 1-1 with Bochum on the road last week. Heidenheim’s return to the top tier hasn’t started well either, they’ve lost both of their league games conceding four goals over two games. It should click for BVB on Friday night here against a side already looking low on confidence, we have them winning by at least two goals.

Roma v AC Milan

Stadio Olimpico, 7:45pm
TV: TNT Sports

Both Teams to Score
Nine of the last 10 meetings between these powerhouses of Italian football have seen Both Teams to Score occurring and we’ve seen it landing in all five of the most recent meetings in the capital. Milan have started the season in better shape than Roma with two wins and six goals scored while the hosts have drawn one and lost one scoring three, Both Teams to Score has some great value odds here.

Romelu Lukaku to Score
Jose Mourinho has gotten his man…again. He convinced the Belgian to join him at Manchester United and has done it now for Roma. Romelua Lukaku, while on loan from Chelsea, scored on his West Brom debut and then on his Everton debut and a week later on his first home match for the Toffees.

He then scored on his Manchester United debut upon signing for them and did it again when he signed for Inter and even scored in his first match when he rejoined Chelsea from Inter against Arsenal. With those stats we’d be stupid not to back him to score on his Roma debut.

Luton v West Ham

Kenilworth Road, 8pm
TV: Sky Sports Main Event/Premier League

West Ham to Win
We all know how important momentum is in football, West Ham have begun the season in mighty form, taking seven points from nine beating Chelsea and Brighton while drawing with Bournemouth. Luton are finding life back in the top flight a tad tough, shipping seven goals so far in losses to Chelsea and Brighton and have scored just one.

Much has been made of this game being Luton’s first home league game of the season which is causing us to ask will the occasion get to them, particularly against a team who have a reputation as being party poopers and one who has scored seven goals in their three league games. We’re backing the Hammers.

Jarrod Bowen to Have 1 or More Shots on Target
With two goals to his name already as well as the winning goal in last season’s Conference League final, it would seem that everything Jarrod Bowen touches turns to gold. He could make it three away goals in-a-row on Friday night and while he’s the most likely Iron to score we’re playing it a little safer and backing him to land at least one shot on target.

Nantes v Marseille

Stade de la Beaujoire, 8pm
TV: TNT Sports

Under 2.5 Goals
Only one of the last five meetings between these sides in Nantes has seen three goals. The hosts have only scored four goals over their three games this season while Marseille have scored six over their three Ligue Un fixtures.

At home, however, the hosts have only scored in three of their last five in the league while Marseille have scored just six over their last five on the road. You’d expect Marseille to edge it here but neither side are in the best form it must be said so we’re unlikely to see three goals.
