Matchday four is upon us in the Scottish League Cup on Saturday afternoon. We’ve piled over the stats and found the five best matches with some value bets for a very tasty Acca. Let’s have a look at what we’ve turned up in the markets.
Albion Rovers v Kilmarnock – Kilmarnock to Win to Nil

Kilmarnock can overtake Dunfermline in Group F with an away victory over the Lowland Football League’s Albion Rovers here. Indeed, they are very short odds to do so. Albion were thrashed 0-3 on Tuesday night and will be eager to put in a better performance. However, going up against a Premiership side they’re very much likely to struggle.
Killie have scored seven over their three League Cup games thus far, while Rovers have netted just one, Kilmarnock to Win to Nil has the value here.
Motherwell v East Fife – Motherwell Over 2.5 Goals

Motherwell currently top Group G on eight points so far, thanks to winning two games and one on penalties, which awards two points, while East Fife are second on seven points after one win and two penalty wins.
The hosts have won four of their last five on home soil, scoring eight while conceding in just two of those matches. The hosts should run away with this and it’s not hard to see them scoring at least three goals.

Ross County v Kelty Hearts – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Ross County have won all three of their League Cup games with Kelty Heart winning two and losing one. The hosts have scored a respectable 11 goals over their last five at home but have conceded seven while the away side have netted 14 over their last five on the road. We’re very much liking the odds here for Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals.
St Johnstone v Stirling – Both Teams to Score

St Johnstone have been very underwhelming in their Group A games so far, winning just one and losing two while Stirling have won two and lost one. The hosts have scored five goals over their three games however, with the away side also netting five times. We should see both teams scoring here.
St Mirren v Forfar Athletic – Over 2.5 Goals
St Mirren Park 4pm
Premiership side St Mirren occupy second place in Group H with two wins and one loss while Forfar Athletic have won all three of their League Cup matches. The sides have scored five and six goals respectively so goals should be on the menu. With Over 2.5 Goals landing in all three of both teams last three respective home/away games, we see that trend continuing.
