Swedish league champions Hacken welcome Welsh champions The New Saints to Gothenburg on Tuesday dinner time and not many are giving the Saints much of a chance. The Swedish side are 15 games into their league season while Craig Harrison’s side haven’t been in competitive action since their 6-0 Welsh Cup Final win last April.
The hosts have scored 20 goals over their last five home competitive games while TNS have lost to Linfield, Hamilton Academical and Cardiff City (beating Crusaders) in their four friendlies. With the hosts scoring at least three goals in all of their last five home games we see that trend continuing, so we’re backing them in the -2 Handicap market.
Farul Constanta v Sheriff Tiraspol

Sheriff Tiraspol Over 1.5 Goals
Farul Constanta began their domestic season with a penalty loss in the Super Cup against Sepsi on Saturday last. Sheriff Tiraspol haven’t played since a Cup Final penalty win in late May. Constanta’s friendlies didn’t go to plan either, losing to Polish sides Pogon Sczcecin and Warta Poznan, as well as Czech side Banik Ostrava.
Sheriff continued their stranglehold of the Moldovan league again last season and have plenty of experience at this stage of the competition, beating Maribor and Zrinjski last season before crashing out to Viktoria Plzen. Sheriff’s experience should stand to them here so we’re backing to score at least two goals as the hosts have conceded at least two in four of their last six at home in all competitions.

Slovan Bratislava v Hesperange

Slovan Bratislava to Win to Nil
Both teams are yet to begin their league season but Slovan have taken some impressive scalps over their friendly games, beating Cluj, Olimpija, Wisla Plock and Rapid Bucharest of late. Luxembourg champions Hesperange haven’t played since the end of May.
The Slovakian champions won their league by nine points, losing just two games over their 32 fixtures and the difference in quality between the two leagues should be plenty evident here on Wednesday night. We’re backing the hosts to Win to Nil here.
