- EH, PADDY – WHAT THE HELL IS A MULTI-MATCH BET BUILDER? LET US EXPLAIN RIGHT HERE!
Romania v Ukraine
Ukraine -1
Co-hosts Romania made the worst possible start to their Euros campaign with a 3-0 defeat against pre-tournament favourites Spain and now face elimination from the tournament if they lose to Ukraine on Saturday evening.
Ukraine, on the other hand, made the perfect start to their European campaign with a 2-0 win over Croatia and can now secure a place in the knockout stages if they beat Romania and Spain avoid defeat against Croatia.
The Ukrainians were excellent in qualifying, finishing just three points behind an excellent French side and missing out on automatic qualification as the best runner-up on goal difference.
They were ruthlessly efficient against Croatia on the opening day and possess a clinical striker in Shakhtar Donetsk forward Danylo Sikan. They should have too much for Romania.
Georgia v Belgium
Both Teams to Score? No
While Romania went down to a convincing 3-0 defeat in their opening game, their fellow co-hosts Georgia caused a huge upset by shocking a heavily fancied Portuguese outfit.
Portugal were one of the most impressive sides in qualifying, making that 2-0 Georgian win all the more impressive. Belgium, meanwhile, drew 0-0 with the Netherlands in a predictably tight encounter against one of the tournament favourites.
Neither Belgium nor Georgia looked like conceding their opening games and it would be something of a surprise if we saw a high-scoring encounter when they face off against each other on Saturday.
Lois Openda to Score Anytime
Lois Openda failed to score in Belgium’s tournament opener against the Dutch, but he clearly remains their most potent forward player.
The Lens forward finished with a hugely impressive 22 goals in Ligue 1 last season, helping to fire Lens to a top two finish for the first time in more than 20 years.
He also finished as Belgium’s top scorer in qualifying with seven of their 14 goals.
Openda can further inflate his rising stock with a good performance at the Euros this summer and he can open his account against the Georgians on Saturday.

Portugal v Netherlands
Over 2.5 Goals
Portugal’s opening day defeat to Georgia has left them with a mountain to climb.
Already finding themselves in a difficult group where one of the competition’s heavyweights was guaranteed to go out, Portugal must now beat both the Netherlands and Belgium if they are to make the knockout stages.
For the Dutch, the story is a little more complicated after a goalless draw with Belgium in their opening fixture. Both sides failed to score in their opening game of the tournament, but Saturday’s clash could bring plenty of goals.
Portugal scored a whopping 41 goals in qualifying for the Euros, while the Dutch scored an impressive 32 goals. Both conceded just three goals in their respective qualifying campaigns, but Portugal’s need for a win should open the game up on and lead to a high-scoring encounter.
