Estonia vs Belgium

A. Le Coq Arena, Tallinn
TV: Viaplay, 7:45pm

Romelu Lukaku to Score Anytime

Fresh from his Champions League-winning heroics for Manchester City (ahem), Romelu Lukaku can go back to what he does best – scoring bagfuls of goals against European minnows in qualifiers. To his credit, Lukaku did nab Belgium’s equaliser in their draw with group rivals Austria on Saturday and his international goalscoring record is genuinely immense.

The Inter striker has scored a hugely impressive 73 goals in 107 caps for Belgium and will probably finish his international career with more than 100 goals, something that is not to be sneered at.

The former Manchester United forward has an incredible knack for scoring against the lower seeds in European qualifying, grabbing 29 of his international goals in qualifiers for the Euros and the World Cup. It wouldn’t be at all surprising if he made that 30 qualifying goals.

Austria vs Sweden

Ernst-Happel-Stadion, Vienna
TV: Viaplay, 7:45pm

Over 2.5 Goals

Austria are enjoying something of a renaissance under Ralf Rangnick, taking seven points from their opening three games to put themselves in pole position to qualify for Euro 2024. Rangnick’s side were relegated from the top tier of the Nations League last year but they found themselves in an incredibly tricky group and still managed to put in some impressive performances.

Sweden, on the other hand, appear to be in freefall, suffering relegation from the second tier of the Nations League last year and losing 3-0 at home to Belgium in their opening qualifier. Austria should win on Tuesday and there should be plenty of goals.

Rangnick’s side are yet to keep a clean sheet in qualifying and have only done so once in nine competitive games under the German manager. They will likely have to score twice to beat Sweden and they should concede one as well.

Over 3.5 Cards

Both Austria and Sweden received four yellow cards in their qualifier against Belgium this year and there is every chance that the two sides will accumulate several cards. This is essentially a do-or-die fixture for Sweden, who are unlikely to receive a Play-Off place due to their poor Nations League form.

With so much on the line, there is bound to be a few incidents worthy of a yellow card and it wouldn’t be surprising to see four or more cards issued.

Iceland vs Portugal

Laugardalsvöllur, Reykjavík
TV: Viaplay, 7:45pm

Bruno Fernandes to Score or Assist

Bruno Fernandes scored twice and assisted once in a brilliant performance against Bosnia on Saturday and the Manchester United midfielder will be confident of continuing his impressive form against a struggling Iceland.

Iceland have taken just three points from their opening three games, losing against both Bosnia and Slovakia as their dreams of automatic qualification went up in smoke. They will pose no trouble for a rampant Portugal side and Fernandes should be involved in at least one of the Portuguese goals.

Bulgaria vs Serbia

Huvepharma Arena, Razgrad
TV: Viaplay, 7:45pm

Serbia -1

It’s difficult to sum up how bad Bulgaria have been in qualifying so far. They have taken just one point from a possible nine and finally managed to score their first goal of the qualifying campaign in a 1-1 draw with 10-man Lithuania last Saturday.

Serbia, on the other hand, have been solid in the early stages of their qualifying campaign, winning each of their two qualifiers 2-0 to top the group and give themselves a real chance of qualifying for their first-ever European championship. The away side should have no problems in Bulgaria and anything other than a comfortable Serbian win would be a surprise.
