Friday, June 16 – 7:45pm: Greece v Ireland
Euro 2024 Qualifier – OPAP Arena, Athens
TV: RTE 2, RTE Player, Viaplay Xtra

I give Ireland a chance here and it’s because of their recent upturn in fortunes. It’s all about confidence and Stephen Kenny will be looking for them to capitalise on that. I know they’ve only won two of the last five but it just feels there’s a bit of form growing there.

Greece have won two of their last five so both teams are coming into this quite evenly. It’s going to be warm out there and I think this might be meaty. The Greeks will put a foot in so I’m looking forward to this one.

I’m going for 2-1 to Ireland so you can get my drift that this is going to be tight. If you fancy a goal scorer I’m going for young Evan Ferguson who’s had a wonderful debut season for Brighton in the Premier League.

My Bet Builder for this game starts with Ireland to Win and Ferguson to Score Anytime.

I mentioned above I fancy 2-1 so I’ll add Over 2.5 Goals and for John Egan to Be Carded. It will be hot and it will be very humid. I think the centre backs will be getting a bit of a running.
