The first leg of the Bundesliga relegation/promotion Playoff final kicks off on Thursday night when Bundesliga side Stuttgart host Hamburg who finished just a point off automatic promotion in the second tier. Both sides are very much among the goals of late, the hosts have scored nine over their last five in all competitions and nine over their last five home games too.
Hamburg have scored 12 goals over their last five fixtures, while on their travels have netted on 10 occasions. Three of the last four meetings over recent seasons have seen at least four goals as well and with that Bundesliga carrot hanging just in front of both sides we reckon we should see a fair amount of goals here.
Serhou Guirassy to Score Anytime
We have to look at Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy in the goalscorers market here. Stuttgart’s leading goalscorer has scored four goals over his last five Bundesliga fixtures and two over his last four on home soil. With him on penalties duty as well we’re getting some great odds here for him to add to his league tally of 11 for the season.

Partick Thistle v Ross County
Scottish Premiership Playoff (first leg), 8pm

Both Teams to Score is jumping out at us here. Partick have scored 18 goals over their last five fixtures and 14 over their last five at Firhill. Ross County have scored nine over their last five fixtures and seven over their last five away games. Both teams are conceding plenty of late too so both should be getting on the scoresheet.
Partick Thistle to Win
Granted they are the team from the lower league but home advantage and their goal-scoring record should stand to the Jags here. As mentioned above, scoring 14 goals over their last five at home is nothing to be sniffed at and we reckon thanks to having more regular goalscorers in the ranks they should win the first leg.
