Leicester v West Ham

Sunday, 4.30pm, Sky Sports Football

Leicester have given themselves a chance of surviving with their result against Newcastle. They put up a good fight there and got a point that keeps them in it on Sunday.

They have looked better recently than for much of the season but you’d still worry for them because it’s not in their control now.

With the players they’ve got – the likes of James Maddison, Harvey Barnes – they shouldn’t really be in this position. Dean Smith dropped them the other night but it got them the result and that’s what matters at this stage of the season.

Maddison should be back in the team for this as they need to win and he’ll be a big threat to West Ham.

I’ve covered quite a few West Ham games recently though and they’ve been good. Luis Paqueta’s looked better, Declan Rice has been good in midfield, Michail Antonio looks back to his old self and they look strong defensively.

What has been a poor season could turn into a huge one with the Europa Conference Final – they haven’t won a trophy in a long, long time..

That’s a factor in this game too. You’d expect the players to be professional, but at the same time no one will want to get injured before the final either and it could give Leicester a chance to get a huge three points.

Leeds v Spurs

Sunday, 4.30pm, BT Sport 1

It’s been such a difficult season at Spurs, you never know what you’re going to get with them.

Leeds have obviously been disappointing this season too and with the form they are in, normally you’d expect Spurs to go there and win but you can’t hang your hat on them at all. I think there will a be a few goals in it though for sure.

And you can’t really think Leeds will keep Harry Kane out the way he’s playing either

Everton v Bournemouth

Sunday, 4.30pm, Sky Sports Main Event

It really all does come down to Everton though. It’s in their hands to save themselves and relegate the other two sides.

They’ll need to win to make sure they’re are safe, especially if Leicester beat West Ham. I fancy them to do it as they are at home but this is going to be a very tense game. I could see it getting very nervy at Goodison if it’s close, and there could be a few tough challenges required as they look for a break. Amadou Onana has shown he’s willing to put his foot in when needed this season.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a doubt again with that hamstring injury and when they are without him you’re just not sure where the goals are going to come from.

Abdoulaye Doucoure has been pretty important recently, but Dwight McNeil has also stepped up. I played with him at Burnley and really like him as a player – I told everyone who’d listen what  good player he was there.

He had a slow start at Everton but has really picked it up and I could see him having an impact on this game.
