Leeds vs Tottenham

Manchester United vs Fulham

Fulham to Have 5 or More Shots on Target

Manchester United wrapped up Champions League qualification with a win over Chelsea on Thursday night and will now surely rest players ahead of their FA Cup final against Manchester City next Saturday. This will offer Fulham a chance to exact some revenge for their quarter-final defeat in that competition at Old Trafford.

Despite registering the most clean sheets in the league, United’s defence has been far from secure at the best of times, and it is likely to be even more shaky if Erik Ten Hag makes a host of changes on Sunday. United faced four shots on target in their 4-1 win over Chelsea, while they faced five efforts on goal in the 1-0 win at Bournemouth last weekend.

The visitors, meanwhile, have scored nine goals in their last three games, registering 15 efforts on target at a rate of five per game. They have nothing to play for, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them take the game to United.

Brentford vs Manchester City

Brentford to Have 4 or More Shots on Target

Similar to their neighbours, Manchester City have much bigger fish to fry than a dead rubber on the final day of the season. With two cup finals on the horizon, City are likely to rest numerous players for Sunday’s trip to Brentford, who are looking to secure Conference League football for next season.

City have clearly taken their foot off the pedal since being confirmed as league champions last weekend, facing a combined 13 shots on target against Chelsea and Brighton. With Brentford in desperate need of a win to claim 7th place, they are likely to ask questions of City’s defence on Sunday and are good value to register four efforts on target.

Southampton vs Liverpool

Mohamed Salah to Have 2 or More Shots on Target

Liverpool’s hopes of finishing in the Champions League may be over, but they will still be keen to go out on a high. Mohamed Salah, in particular, will be desperate to end his season in the ascendency. On a personal level, Salah has enjoyed a very good season, scoring 19 goals and registering 11 assists in the Premier League alone.

Liverpool’s Egyptian King can break 20 goals in the league for the third season running if he scores on Sunday against relegated Southampton, which is not beyond the realms of possibility. He is likely to try, at the very least. His average of 3.2 shots per game is the fourth-highest in the Premier League this season and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him match that average against a Southampton side that has faced almost 14 shots per game.

Leeds vs Tottenham

Leeds to Have 6 or More Shots on Target

Leeds need a lot of things to go right if they are to survive on Sunday. Sam Allardyce’s side need both Everton and Leicester to fail to win their respective games and also need to beat Tottenham, preferably by several goals.

If Everton draw, Leeds will need a three-goal win against Spurs to overtake the Toffees on goal difference.Given Spurs’ calamitous end to the season, that is not impossible. At the very least, Leeds are likely to put Spurs under huge pressure on Sunday, making a punt on them to have six shots on target or more quite tempting.

The Whites have averaged just three shots on target per game since Allardyce’s arrival but face a Spurs side that seems to actively help the opposition score goals. The away side have faced 40 shots on target in their last eight games at a rate of five per game, conceding a staggering 22 goals in the process. Leeds will surely look to emulate such statistics on Sunday.
