The end is nigh, a long, hopefully hot summer without an international tournament to see us through looms. Still, one last feast of Premier League football on Sunday with plenty on the line at the bottom of the table is still to be played and enjoyed – as long as your club’s not involved at the wrong end that is!
We have a Bet Builder with our five top selections to see out the season in style.
Leeds v Spurs
TV: BT Sport 1, 4:30pm
Harry Kane to Score
Will he stay or will he go? Will Leeds stay in the Premier League? Well, I think we all know the answer to that one, sorry Leeds. And when they are relegated on Sunday I fully expect it to be at the hands of Harry Kane who, in an underperforming Spurs team, has been nothing short of majestic this season scoring 28 goals and maybe not getting the attention that he deserves thanks to another well-known Premier League marksman.
If it is to be his last game for Tottenham that gives him all the more incentive to do what he always has for his club, score goals.
Leicester v West Ham
TV: Sky Sports Premier League, 4:30pm
James Maddison To Score or Assist
Leicester somehow earned a point away at Newcastle on Monday night from which they will take confidence, despite being battered from pillar to post. James Maddison did not start the game but surely manager Dean Smith will give him the nod with anything less than a win sending them down.
Maddison has 10 goals and nine assists this season – very productive in what has been an awful season for the Foxes. As with earlier narratives it’s expected this could be his last game for the club before moving on to bigger things – so what better way to sign off than contributing once more in front of goal.

Everton v Bournemouth
TV: Sky Sports Premier League, 4:30pm
Everton to Win
Securing top flight football for another season is in the Toffees’ hands, motivation and the backing roar of 40,000 Evertonians is reflected in the price, but for me this is a banker. I simply cannot see past a home win against a Cherries team which will deservedly have half an eye on Bournemouth beach for the summer after a successful campaign.
Arsenal v Wolves
Arsenal -1
Arsenal’s young guns ran out of fire power in the final run in, but now the pressure is off I expect the flair to return in front of their home fans for one final hurrah to what has been overall a positive season. Added to this, mood may be low for Wolves whose financial situation leaves manager Julen Lopetegui’s future in doubt as well as star midfielder Ruben Neves expected to leave this summer for Barcelona.
Brentford v Man City
Julian Alvarez to Score Anytime
Erling Haaland is expected to be given the weekend off as City prepare for their two cup finals in which they look to secure a famous Treble. This leaves the door open for Julian Alvarez to lead the line in what has been a very impressive debut season in English football for the Argentine, who has 17 goals in all competitions and two in his last three appearances, despite playing time being somewhat limited.
