Championship play-off semi-final, second-leg: Luton v Sunderland (Agg: 1-2)
Tuesday, May 16: 8pm
Sky Sports Main Event/Football
Carlton Morris to Score or Assist
Luton and Sunderland face off again on Tuesday night with a place in the Championship playoff final against Middlesbrough or Coventry up for grabs.
Sunderland boast a 2-1 lead from the first leg at the Stadium Of Light, meaning Luton need to score at least once at Kenilworth Road if they are to keep their dreams of playing in the Premier League alive.
With Luton needing to attack, our first Bet Builder selection is Carlton Morris to Score or Assist. The 27-year-old has been immense for Luton this season and he’s netted 20 Championship goals as well as chipping in with seven assists.
There’s no doubt that the all-action forward, who has also picked up 11 yellow cards this season, will have a say in Tuesday’s clash so we’re backing him to net or to set up a team-mate.
Luke O’Nien to Commit 2 or More Fouls
We’re staying away from picking the winner on Tuesday but one thing we’re confident about is fouls – and the first player in focus is Sunderland’s Luke O’Nien.
The 28-year-old has been a utility man for the Black Cats this season and he’s played all over the back four as well as in the middle of midfield.
He started at centre-half in the first leg at the Stadium Of Light and he committed two fouls and picked up a yellow card.
O’Nien has committed two or more fouls in three of his last four games and we’re expecting that trend to continue as he goes up against Morris and Elijah Adebayo once again.

Alfie Doughty to Commit 2 or More Fouls
Next up on our hunt for fouls is Luton’s Alfie Doughty.
The left midfielder has been carded 11 times this season and he was shown a yellow in the first leg at the Stadium Of Light.
Doughty committed four fouls in the first leg, with the 23-year-old having to deal with Amad Diallo, who has been incredible for Sunderland this season.
Doughty has committed two or more fouls in four of his last seven appearances and he’ll be busy once again on Tuesday.
Over 3.5 Cards
We’ve mentioned we like the look of fouls so backing cards also makes plenty of sense – and our final Bet Builder selection is Over 3.5 Cards.
There were seven yellow cards handed out in the first leg at the weekend and we should be in for more of the same on Tuesday.
There’s so much on the line and we can expect to see plenty of aggressive tackles, as well as a few take fouls if a team is on the counter attack.
