High-flying Brighton are on a charge for European football, having won their last two home games in a row, scoring seven goals in the process. The Seagulls have also netted seven goals in their last two games against Everton, including a 4-1 win at Goodison Park earlier this season.
It’s crunch time for the Toffees, who can take some positives from their 2-2 showing against Leicester in their last Premier League outing as they battle to avoid the drop. With both sides in a desperate search for all three points, I expect goals on the South Coast in this one.
Kaoru Mitoma to Score Anytime
Japanese international Kaoru Mitoma has become the latest hidden gem discovered by the Brighton scouting department. The winger has netted a stunning seven goals so far this campaign and is a key element of Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. With Seamus Coleman ruled out through injury at right-back for Everton, Mitoma will fancy his chances of taking on the inexperienced Nathan Patterson.
He was on the scoresheet the last time these sides faced each other, and I expect him to punish the Toffees once more.

Alex Iwobi to Have 1 or More Shots on Target
Tricky midfielder Alex Iwobi has been involved in more goals than any other Everton player this season and always looks to pose a threat going forward. The Nigerian will take confidence from his goal against Leicester in their previous game, which was one of his two shots on target in that clash. With more tough fixtures on the horizon, Everton have to find points from somewhere and will have to test the Brighton defence at any opportunity given.

Brighton’s Solly March certainly doesn’t know how to take a penalty, and tackling isn’t his strong suit either. The winger is ranked 8th in the entire league for most fouls conceded this season as he looks to help his side out by tracking back defensively. Last time these sides met, March gave away two fouls and with Everton’s potential on the counterattack, he could be called into action once again in this match.
