Sunday, 2:30pm: Rangers v Celtic
FA Cup Semifinal
TV: Viaplay
Celtic to Win
For what seems like the 40th time this season, Celtic prepare to take on their arch-rivals Rangers. Celtic have enjoyed almost total supremacy over their bitter rivals, winning three of the four games they have played against them this season, losing none.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have also scored 11 goals in their four meetings with Rangers this season and will be confident of continuing their superiority when they meet in the Scottish FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Motherwell last weekend brought to an end their astonishing run of 17 consecutive wins in all competitions, but it will not be much of a disappointment given the league is all but wrapped up.
They seem to have Rangers’ number and should get back to winning ways on Sunday, taking another step towards a domestic treble.
Kyogo Furuhashi to Score Anytime
Kyogo Furuhashi is enjoying a sensational season, scoring 29 goals in all competitions, and the Japanese forward seems to absolutely relish playing against Rangers. Furuhashi has scored five goals in four games against Rangers this season, including braces in each of his last two appearances against them.
He has scored 16 goals more than any other Celtic player this season and is good value to get himself on the scoresheet considering his incredible goalscoring record.
Both teams to Score
Each of the last three games involving Celtic and Rangers have seen both teams find the back of the net. The teams shared four goals in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Ibrox in January before Celtic emerged 2-1 winners in the League Cup final a month later. Most recently, Postecoglou’s men claimed a 3-2 win in a thriller at Celtic Park.
Celtic won 4-0 in the first Old Firm of the season, showcasing that goals are always guaranteed when Celtic and Rangers face off, even if one team fails to score. There will be goals on Sunday and considering Celtic have kept just two clean sheets in their last nine games, Rangers will be confident of scoring at least one of them.

John Lundstram to Commit 2 or More Fouls
A near ever-present in the Rangers midfield, John Lundstram averages one foul per game in the league this season. However, playing against a Celtic team that will cause him far more problems than the average Scottish Premier League team, Lundstram may be forced to make significantly more fouls than normal.
As a general rule, Old Firms tend to be fiery encounters anyway, with Celtic and Rangers sharing a combined total of 16 yellow cards from their last two meetings. Lundstram is a good price to commit at least two fouls in Sunday’s cup semi-final.
Celtic Over 2.5 Cards
Celtic have averaged three yellow cards per game in their four meetings with Rangers this season, picking up four in each of their last two Old Firms. It is hardly surprising to see the card count rise when the two teams face each other considering the bitterness of the rivalry and the latest instalment on Sunday should be no different.
In fact, it may even go up a notch given that it is a cup semi-final.A total of 10 yellow cards were issued when the teams played in the Scottish League Cup final earlier in the season and it wouldn’t be surprising to see a similar number of cards issued on Sunday. Even when things are going well, Celtic seem to pick up a number of yellow cards against Rangers, with Postecoglou’s side picking up three bookings in the 4-0 win earlier in the season.
