We’ve had some absolute humdingers between Juventus and Napoli over recent seasons but the big question will be, are Napoli still going to be licking their wounds after a surprise Champions League exit? Juve have just won their 15 points deduction appeal and now sit third in the table, just two points behind Lazio and will be eager to finish second this season. More importantly though, we’ve gone through the stats to find five value picks for a very meaty Bet Builder.
Over 2.5 Goals
Three more wins are all that separate Napoli from their first Scudetto since the days of Diego Maradona and you can be sure that Juventus won’t want one of them occurring in their backyard. Juventus are coming off the back of two Serie A defeats and will be gunning to get one over the soon-to-be champions. They’ve won four and lost one of their last five at home in the league, scoring 10 and conceding six.
The visitors have won seven on the bounce on their league travels, scoring a very impressive 17 goals. Five of the last eight meetings here have seen Over 2.5 Goals and we reckon we’ll see at least three goals again.
Over 9.5 Corners
Juventus are averaging 5.27 corners per Serie A game and 5.33 on home soil. The visitors have been averaging 5.90 per league outing and 4.93 on their Italian travels. Admittedly only two of the last five meets here have seen 10 corners or more but Juventus should be smelling blood here. Napoli have now won just one of their last five in all competitions and if they can give Gli Azzurri a bloodied nose before landing their title they will take every opportunity to do so.
We can see the hosts having most of the ball here and trying to kick a dog when it’s down. With plenty of attacks on the cards we reckon we’ll get Over 9.5 Corners here.

Under 3.5 Cards
Napoli have collected just 39 yellow cards this season, by far the best disciplinary record in the league. Inter are second from bottom with 51 yellow cards. Juve have collected 55 yellows and six reds. Referees tend to go easy on Juve at home too, as much as that might rile up Old Lady fans the stats prove it. We’ll probably see a couple of tactical fouls as per usual here but tough to see too many being issued considering both teams just don’t pick up very many cards. It’s Under 3.5 Cards.
Victor Osimhen to Score Anytime
Victor Osimhen got his goal midweek against Milan in the Champions League but it was too little too late. His stats this season are incredible; 21 Serie A goals in 24 appearances and five in six in the Champions League. He’s got two in four against Juventus previously and he has six over his last five away league matches. We just have to back Osimhen to Score Anytime based on those stats.
Angel Di Maria to Have 1 or More Shots on Target
A few candidates here, Dusan Vlahovic as the main striker of course, who averages 0.94 shots on target per league game and has a few goals against Napoli over his Serie A career. However, Argentina World Cup winner Angel Di Maria is going to be key here.
He was rested against Sassuolo last weekend, although brought on when they were trailing, with an eye on this game and, like with Milan, Juventus know that rapid counters are the key to overcoming Napoli. His partnership with Vlahovic should see him providing key passes here and getting into the box for at least one on target for himself.
