Blackburn v Coventry – Coventry to Win

Blackburn have now gone four Championship games without a victory and face a Coventry side who haven’t lost on their league travels over any of their last seven away games.

The hosts are decent at home however, winning three of their last five, drawing one and losing one but it’s the fact they’ve scored in just one of their last four league games that means we’d have to favour the away side here, particularly as they’ve scored 12 goals over their last five away league encounters.

QPR v Norwich – Under 2.5 Goals

QPR have scored in just two of their last six Championship games and have netted just two over their last five on home soil. Norwich aren’t exactly setting the world alight with their goal stats either, scoring just three goals over their last five league encounters. With stats like these, we have to back Under 2.5 goals for this one.

Swansea v Preston – Over 2.5 Goals

Swansea have won four and drawn one of their last five league games, scoring a healthy eight goals. At home, they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring five and conceding four. Preston have won three and lost two of their last five in league competition, while on their travels have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring four and conceding seven.

With both teams scoring and conceding a fair amount of late, coupled with the good form of the hosts, we’re liking the price for three goals or more here.

Watford v Cardiff – Watford to Win

Watford’s form doesn’t look the best on paper admittedly, with just one win over their last five in the Championship. However, they’ve scored seven over their last five fixtures and at home have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring eight and conceding four.

Cardiff have won just one of their last five matches, drawing one and losing three and scored in just three of their last nine away league outings. Thanks to that, and Watford scoring a decent amount of late, we’re going for a Hornets home win here.

Middlesbrough v Hull – Middlesbrough to Win

Boro have won eight of their last 10 at the Riverside in the league while the Tigers have won just two of their last 10 away league clashes. The hosts have also scored 16 over their last five at home while the visitors have scored six over the same period on their travels.

The home side should easily outscore Liam Rosenior’s side here so we’re backing them to bag the points.

Reading v Luton – Under 2.5 Goals

We’ve seen Over 2.5 goals in just two of their last 10 combined home/away league games for the teams involved here. Reading have only scored two goals over their last five on home turf too while Luton have scored a total of five over their last five away games.

They should be winning here; Reading are in awful form but they’ve only conceded four over their last five at home, meaning the value here is in opposing goals.
