Marseille v Troyes

TV: BT Sport 3, 7:45pm

Both Teams to Score, No

With eight games to go in the Ligue Un title race, Marseille are eight points behind leaders PSG with Lens sandwiched in between. Of their last five league fixtures, they’ve won two and drawn three while at the Velodrome haven’t fared so well, drawing three and losing two, scoring five and conceding 10.

Troyes’ Ligue Un days looked numbered and haven’t won on their league travels since early January. Of their last five away Ligue Un games they’ve lost all of them, scoring just two goals while conceding 13. They’ve only scored in two of their last five overall games as well meaning that a Both Teams to Score, No pick has the value here.

Roma v Udinese

TV: BT Sport 1, 7:45pm

Roma -1

Roma were away to Feyenoord on Thursday evening and came away with a 1-0 loss when they had the far better chances over the 90 minutes and really should have won. In the Serie A, they’ve won three and lost two of their last five while at the Stadio Olimpico have won four and lost one, winning all four to nil, scoring 10 goals.

Udinese have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five in the league while on their excursions have won just one, drawing one and losing three, scoring just two goals while conceding seven. We should see Jose Mourinho’s side winning by at least two goals here.

Valencia v Sevilla

TV: Premier Sports 1, 8pm

Both Teams to Score

With 10 La Liga games to go Valencia are top of the bottom three on 27 points while Sevilla have clawed their way up the table of late and are five places above them on 32 points so are by no means out of danger yet. The hosts have won just one of their last five league clashes, drawing one and losing three while at home have done far better with two wins, two draws and a loss, scoring six and conceding five.

The visitors have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five in the league but on the road have won one, drawn one and lost three, scoring four and conceding 12. With BTTS landing in seven of their last 10 meetings here and it being a relegation six-pointer both sides must go for it; Both Teams to Score has the value here.

LA Galaxy v LAFC

TV: Apple TV, 9:30pm

Denis Bouanga to Score Anytime

2022 MLS winners LAFC travel the 17 miles south to take on their city rivals LA Galaxy. The hosts have chalked up just three points over their six games so far this season while the defending champions are unbeaten over their six league matches, winning four and drawing two. Galaxy have lost none of their eight home games against LAFC, winning six and drawing two with BTTS landing in seven and Over 2.5 goals occurring in six.

This is surely LAFC’s best chance at finally getting one over their city rivals but the hosts won’t want their impressive home record against them dented so we’d expect both teams to score here. However, we have to bring up the away side’s Gabon international striker Denis Bouanga who has six goals over his six games already. In such good form we’re getting plenty of value her for him to hit the back of the net.
