HAVEN’T A CLUE WHAT A BET BUILDER IS? WELL, LET OUR HANDY WHAT IS A BET BUILDER? GUIDE REVEAL ALL
Saturday night we’re really spoiled for choice when it comes to European football. We have Real Madrid taking on Villarreal in La Liga while PSG are closing in on yet another Ligue Un title and must travel to Nice.
First up though we have Lazio taking on Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in the Serie A. We’ve found six selections from these three games so let’s get straight into it.
Lazio v Juventus
TV: BT Sport 3, 7:45pm
Both Teams to Score
Seeing a Both Teams to Score bet priced well above Evens here at the time of writing certainly seems like good value, particularly as both teams are scoring above 1.50 goals on average per Serie A game. Why is it so high? Well, Juve have been keeping a decent amount of clean sheets of late in the league but what’s swaying us here are two factors.
First of all, Lazio have scored in three of the Old Lady’s last four visits to Rome and secondly, the Eagles have scored 11 goals over their last eight home Serie A games. The away side are in great form and would be second in the league were it not for their points penalty which may well be revoked presently. Both teams should be scoring here in the form they’re in so we have to start off with a Both Teams to Score bet.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to have 1 or More Shots on Target
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been one of the stand-out players in this season’s Serie A, scoring five goals and assisting eight, scoring another two in the Europa League for Lazio.
He’s been averaging 1.5 shots per game and with Juve’s solid defence goal chances won’t exactly be aplenty here meaning the industrious Serbian midfielder will surely try one from distance on Wojciech Szczesny in the Juve goal. We reckon he’ll be stinging the Pole’s fingers at least once over the 90 minutes.
PSG have now conceded in nine of their last 10 Ligue Un fixtures and in seven of their last eight away league clashes. They have failed to find the back of the net in both of their most previous fixtures but over their last eight away trips to the Allianz Riviera have netted a total of 19 goals so we reckon they should be good for at least one here.
Nice have scored in all but one of their last 10 league games and have netted 17 over their last 10 at home in Ligue Un. Hard to not see both teams scoring at least one here with those stats.
Kylian Mbappe to Score Anytime
Kylian Mbappe over his career goes through short bursts of not scoring. He’s now gone three games for club and country without a goal and he’s going to be eager to get back on track here. Surprisingly, he’s only scored three times against Nice over his career which will just add more fuel to the fire for the young French striker to get back among the goals.
Real Madrid v Villarreal
TV: La Liga TV/Viaplay Sports 1, 8pm
Over 2.5 Goals
Real Madrid were in action midweek when they humiliated Barcelona 0-4 in a Copa del Rey semi final at the Nou Camp. Their La Liga form has seen them winning two, drawing two and losing one over their last five while at home have now gone a year without losing a home league game, winning four and drawing one of their last five, scoring 16 while conceding just two.
Villarreal are in great recent form, winning four of their last five in the league, drawing the other one while on the road have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring nine and conceding eight. With both teams scoring for fun we should be looking at three goals here at the very least.
Karim Benzema to Score Anytime
Karim Benzema has 14 La Liga goals over his 17 appearances this season and has a healthy total of nine career goals over his 20 occasions when facing the Yellow Submarine. With five goals to his name over his last five home league games we’re getting some decent odds here for the Frenchman to add to his league tally.
