Tuesday night’s a busy one on the international football front and we’ve gone though the best of the fixtures to find a six-leg Bet Builder from four of the most important fixtures. Loads to get into here so let’s get straight into it.

Scotland v Spain

TV: Premier Sports 1, 7:45pm

Spain to Win

Scotland’s recent results certainly look decent on paper, winning three, drawing one and losing one of their last five but the quality of the opposition pales in comparison to what Spain have faced over recent months. Of course, the home side will be motivated and eager to add to their three points collected against Cyprus but really their group battle is against Norway and not Spain.

La Rioja had to dig deep against a very defensive Norway on Saturday night but remained patient and thanks to two late goals from Espanyol striker Joselu emerged with a 3-0 victory. Spain have far too much class and experience all over the pitch. The Scots will make it tough but Spain have far more goal scorers here and should take the three points.

Scotland to Receive the Most Cards

Scotland, in surrendering much of the possession here will be forced to commit a few fouls in the centre of the park. The hosts have picked up eight cards over their last five at home, while Spain have picked up just three bookings over their last five away games. This one should be nailed on.

Wales v Latvia

TV: Premier Sports 2, 7:45pm

Both Teams to Score

Latvia travelled to Dublin last weekend to take on a side like Wales and ended up leaving with a 3-2 loss in a game nobody expected them to even score in. Here’s the thing, Latvia have scored now in all 12 of their most recent fixtures and have scored in all six of their most previous away games.

Wales rescued a point away to Croatia in a game that the hosts should have won by four or more. But up popped Nathan Broadhead in the third minute of stoppage time to grab an unlikely draw. The hosts have scored in seven of their last eight on home soil and there’s some good value here in a Both Teams to Score pick.

Timo Werner Germany

Germany v Belgium

TV: Viaplay, 7:45pm

Over 2.5 Goals

Germany didn’t concede a single shot on target against Peru on Saturday night and comfortably won 2-0. They will, at least, be tested here by a Belgian side who were also comfortable winners in their previous match, running out 0-3 winners over Sweden in their Group F curtain raiser.

Germany have scored at least two goals in seven of their last nine home matches while Belgium have scored in all but one of their last 11 games on their travels. We’re likely looking at at least three goals here.

Turkey v Croatia

Both Teams to Score

Turkey began their Group D fixtures with a 1-2 win over Armenia and have now won three of their last five, drawing one and losing one while at home have won four and drawn one of their last five, scoring a healthy 13 goals in the process.

Croatia blew it against Wales on Saturday night but have won all seven of their most recent, non-World Cup, games on their travels, scoring 17 goals. We have to go with both teams to score here.

Luka Modric to Have 1 or More Shots on Target

Croatia captain Luka Modric averages around a shot per game for Real Madrid and shows similar stats when playing for his country. With both teams in fine goal-scoring form we’re expecting their captain to lead by example and have at least one shot on target over the 90 minutes.
