Man City v RB Leipzig, Tuesday 20:00
TV: BT Sport 1
Man City to Win
There’s no real surprise here, City should be in a position to win this match. Leipzig and Hungary shot-stopper Peter Gulacsi is still absent after tearing his cruciate ligament in October. Will replacement keeper Janis Blaswich be able to cope against the City firing squad as he did during the first leg? Don’t count on it.
Over 2.5 Goals
As is Bundesliga tradition, Leipzig see a lot of goals in their games, in fact, 14 of their last 18 games have seen over the 2.5 goal mark. While City only boast hitting the over in nine of their last 18 games this season, it’s still a reasonable return. With Erling Haaland, possibly Julian Alvarez and Timo Werner (who has been much improved since returning to Germany) all on the same pitch, there are goals in this one.
Erling Haaland to Have 2 or More Shots on Target
He’s an inevitable addition to any Bet Builder that has City involved in it. He is coming up against familiar opposition from his time spent in Germany for the second time in two weeks. He might have been kept quiet previously, but we know that Haaland isn’t a man to let anybody get the better of him more than once. He has 34 total goals in all competitions this season and is finding the target on a colossal 50% of his shots taken in the Champions League.
Timo Werner to Have 1 or More Shots on Target
Werner was shipped back to the Bundesliga over the summer, and it’s turned out fairly well for him overall. He’s scored nine goals and notched four assists so far, but what we’re most concerned about here is his shot conversion percentage. He is finding the target on 43.6% of his shots, which is well above average, and can be found in this market at great value.

RB Leipzig to Receive the Most Cards
Leipzig don’t tend to pick up a lot of yellow cards in general. However, in the last game against City, they picked up more cards than their opponents. Looking through their previous games, they also tend to pick up more cards against stronger opponents – such as the five they managed to receive against Dortmund two weeks ago.
Kevin De Bruyne Anytime Assist
Kevin de Bruyne has managed to get himself 15 assists between the Champions League and Premier League alone this season so far. It isn’t hard to tell why when he’s got targets like Haaland to aim for. City as a team are overflowing with talent, and with De Bryune ranking in the 99th percentile in assists, shot creating actions and xAG, you can see why he’s a must add to the Bet Builder.
Under 9.5 Corners
Their first encounter was limited to just six corners overall. Leipzig in general don’t concede many corners. In fact, RB Leipzig have seen under 9.5 corners in seven of their last ten matches. City have seen under 9.5 corners in five of their last ten, and we’d be expecting to see another game with very little in the way of corner kicks.
