Fulham v Arsenal, Sunday, March 12th, 2pm
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football

Arsenal fans might worry a bit that the travelling away for these European games could be the undoing of their league challenge. I can understand that.

You want to maintain your level in the Europa League but it’s very difficult to manage, especially with the games on Thursday nights. The Champions League just feels different when it’s earlier in the week.

And even more so when you get a tough game like they did against Sporting.

But you can also add that battling performance on Thursday to the high of that Bournemouth win – Those results show the character that’s in this team now.

Winning like they did last Saturday gives you such a bounce. That was a real moment.

It was like Fergie running on the pitch against Sheffield Wednesday. It felt like one of those events people will remember.

They showed a real title-winning mentality to turn that around.

Before, Arsenal were being labelled as too soft and easy to play against because they’d drop points there.

It feels like there’s something different about the Emirates this year – even when they’re losing, there’s the feeling that they’ll come back.

There’s been a real mindshift from last year.

Fulham’s a difficult game on Sunday too.

We know City won’t let up in the title race and Arsenal will feel the pressure from them if they start dropping points.

Right from the beginning of the season, Fulham have looked on it.

Palhinha in midfield has been a great addition, I’ve been really impressed by him, and Mitrovic `has kept up his scoring form from the Championship in the Premier League.

Craven Cottage isn’t the most intimidating place to go and play – I loved playing there as it’s an old-school ground – but they do have a good team now and a good manager so it won’t be easy for Arsenal

But I still think that winning mentality comes through again for Arsenal. It could be late dram again though.

They’re not blowing teams away now but they are still getting the job done and that’s what matters.

Palhinha’s suspension should help them as he’s been great this season.

`He’s usually nailed on for a booking too, so we can’t have that, but William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will have their hands full with Mitrovic up against them.

They could both have to intervene at times to keep the Fulham striker in check.

They’ll need to keep an eye on Manor Solomon too who’s on fire and been scoring some great goals since they signed him.

He could pose a threat on Sunday.

If Odegaard is back he’ll be pulling the strings as usual for Arsenal, but Bukayo Saka is the dangerman for me.

No one can cope with him at the moment. He looks unplayable.
