After a crushing 7-0 loss to rivals Liverpool last weekend, Manchester United will be looking to pick themselves up and continue on with their European campaign as they face off against Real Betis in the Europa League round of 16. Here’s our Bet Builder!

Man Utd to Win

I’d imagine the Manchester United lads got the hairdryer treatment in the dressing room after the Liverpool loss, more surprising again, is that Erik ten Hag actually knows what a hairdryer is.

They need to rebound after that loss and they have to do it quickly to avoid falling into a slump like they did earlier in the season. It won’t be easy against La Liga’s fifth-placed side Real Betis, but with home advantage and a more than capable starting 11, it should be achievable.

Over 2.5 Goals

If there’s one thing that we can rely on United to do it’s score… or concede. Either way, goals galore is on the cards for this one and we may as well take it and lump it into our Bet Builder.

Wout Weghorst to Score or Assist

Wout Weghorst has developed a fantastic working relationship with Marcus Rashford since arriving at Old Trafford. Their link up play has been fantastic and we would expect to see this produce something on Thursday night. Through Weghorst finding the net or serving up a goal on a silver platter for the likes of Bruno Fernandes or Rashford, he’ll make an impact.

Marcus Rashford to Have Three or More Shots on Target

When Rashford’s in form, he can’t be left out – and he is in form. The price for two shots on target wasn’t great and there’s definitely the potential for Rashford to find the target three times.

Real Betis to Have Over 2.5 Cards

We expect the Theatre of Dreams to cause nightmares for the Betis players. They’ve managed to pick up three or more yellow cards in five of their last six games, including two games with red cards!

Borja Iglesias to Commit Two or More Fouls

Borja Iglesias isn’t the best tackler, and in fairness to him, he shouldn’t be – he’s a forward. But he ranks in the bottom 40 per cent in terms of successful tackles and is prone to concede a foul or two. We’ve stuck him in here as we can see him trying to bully Lisandro Martinez in order to try and slow down United’s passing out from the back.
