Monday Football Acca Tips
7:45pm – Torino v Bologna – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals
8pm – Brentford v Fulham – Draw
8pm – Shamrock Rovers v Cork City – Both Teams to Score
8pm – Osasuna v Celta Vigo – Under 2.5 Goals
Monday night’s Football Acca finds us digging for value in La Liga where Osasuna are bearing down on the European places when they face Celta Vigo. In Ireland, champions Shamrock Rovers are winless this season and take on Cork City at home. In the Premier League, Brentford entertain Fulham but getting us started here we’re off to the Serie A where Torino host Bologna.
Torino v Bologna – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals
TV: BT Sport 1 (7:45pm)
Torino led Juventus twice in their recent 4-2 defeat midweek but will be depending on their home form against a Bologna side enjoying a hot streak. The visitors have won four of their last five league games, losing the other one while on their Serie A travels have won three and lost two, scoring seven and conceding 10.
The Bulls have won two, drawn two and lost one at home of late in league competition, scoring six and conceding four. With both teams scoring and conceding plenty of late there’s some great value in both scoring and seeing at least three goals here.
Brentford v Fulham – Draw
TV: Sky Sports Football (8pm)
Brentford are unbeaten over their last five fixtures in all competitions while the Cottagers have done better; going seven games without a defeat. The Bees have won two and drawn three of their last five in the league while on home soil have won three and lost two in the league of late.
Fulham have won four of their last five, drawing the other one while their Premier League results read as two wins, two draws and one loss. On their league excursions they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one. With both teams proving so difficult to beat of late the Draw price offers some very tasty value.
Rovers’ season has not gotten off to a good start, of their four competitive games they’re yet to win, drawing two and losing two, scoring three goals while conceding six. Cork have played three matches so far, beating UCD 4-0 on Friday night, losing to Derry and Bohemians previously. Rovers usually do the business when Cork come to Tallaght but their form suggests City will draw some blood here and with the hosts conceding plenty since the season began there’s good value in a Both Teams to Score pick here.
Osasuna v Celta Vigo – Under 2.5 Goals
TV: Premier Sports 2 (8pm)
At the time of writing, Osasuna are just a point off the European places and will be confident here after beating both Sevilla in La Liga and Bilbao in the Copa del Rey of late. The hosts have won two and lost three at home of late, two of those losses were against Real and Atletico however. Over 2.5 goals was only seen in one of their last five at home, where they scored four and conceded five.
Celta have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five away league encounters, scoring six and conceding five with Overs also only being seen in one of those five matches. Both teams don’t score too many and with Unders landing in five of their last six meetings here we’re going to go with that trend continuing.
