Interestingly, Everton’s losses seem to come in threes, bar the opening two games of the season which saw them follow two defeats up with a draw against the one and only Nottingham Forest.

Even then, Forest were getting upto pace and it took a Demarai Gray 88th-minute equaliser to salvage something.

Everton have scored one goal away from home since October and that was against Man City.

On the flipside, Forest have scored in every one of their home games bar Spurs back in August.

I cannot understand this pricing.

He’s back in contention to start according to his gaffer, and when he’s fit, he absolutely plays despite splitting opinion – and splitting heads.

Morgan Gibbs-White to have Three or More Shots

He’s taken two or more shots in nine of his last ten starts. He’s taken three or more in half of them. This is a game they’re likely to have clear runs into the opposition third, so it makes a mountain of sense to back him to exploit the spaces Everton seem to give up on a weekly basis and aim towards goal.

Neal Maupay to Have Three or More Shots

Three shots or more in each of his last Premier League starts, including five at Arsenal.

When Everton are going well, he’s generally linking play. When it’s not, like at the Emirates, he’s shooting on sight because he feels the pressure of being a nine rather than a cog that’s there to create.

While it’s never nice to see someone’s burden cripple them, I do take some joy in their panic as I cash in my multiples.
