We have a whole host of European footballing action to sink our value-obsessed gnashers into for Friday night’s football. We’re looking at five matches here so let’s keep the intro short and get straight to the Bundesliga where Borussia Dortmund host RB Leipzig at the Westfalenstadion.

Dortmund v RB Leipzig

TV: Sky Sports Red Button (7:30pm)

Julian Brandt to Score or Assist

Dortmund’s creative midfielder Julian Brandt has found some great form since the World Cup, scoring four goals bringing his total to eight Bundesliga goals for the season. It’s worth mentioning he’s created four in the league as well. He’s also got two over his last four on home soil in the Bundesliga and one assist and his odds are offering some great value to either score or create against the Bulls here.

Over 3.5 Goals

Dortmund have scored an impressive total of 21 goals over their last five home league clashes where we’ve seen Over 3.5 goals landing in four of those five matches. Leipzig have scored just as many Bundesliga goals as BVB this season with 45 and have netted 14 over their last five on their league travels. All five of their most recent meetings here have seen Over 3.5 goals and with both in such great goal-scoring form we see that trend continuing.

Napoli v Lazio

TV: BT Sport 2 (7:45pm)

Napoli to Win

Napoli have won nine of their last 10 Serie A games and haven’t lost a home league game since last April in the league. Of their last five, they’ve scored a total of 15 goals while conceding four.

Lazio’s league form has seen them winning two of their last five, drawing two and losing one, while on their travels have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring six while conceding six. No doubt Lazio won’t take this lying down but Napoli are just steamrolling teams of late, indeed they’ve won all five of their most recent fixtures in all competitions to nil so we have to back them here as they march towards their first Scudetto of the century.

Victor Osimhen to Score Anytime

Paramount to Napoli’s title hope has been their Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen who has scored 19 over his 20 Serie A games this season. He has scored eight over his last seven in all competitions and eight over his last six home league games. In the form of his life we’re getting some very decent value odds here for him to get his name on the scoresheet.

Min-Jae Kim, Napoli, 1-23

Nice v Auxerre

TV: BT Sport 3 (8:00pm)

Nice to Win

Nice are in great Ligue Un form of late, collecting 16 points from a possible 18 over their last six games. At home they’ve won three and drawn two, scoring 10 while conceding just one. Auxerre have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five in the league while on the road have won one, drawn one and lost three, scoring four and conceding six. This one has ‘home win’ written all over it.

Shamrock Rovers v Derry City

Both Teams to Score

Reigning Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers will be out for revenge after losing to Derry City in the season-opening President’s Cup in mid-February. However, of their two league games since they threw away 1-0 positions in the dying stages. Derry, on the other hand, have won one and drawn one and have little to fear here. Indeed, they’ll be eager to impress upon Rovers their credentials as they’re the most likely team to push the Dubliners this season in the league. Both Teams to Score has the value here.

Real Sociedad v Cadiz

TV: LaLiga TV

Under 2.5 Goals

Sociedad have won just one of their last five in La Liga, drawing two and losing two while at home have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring six goals while conceding four with Under 2.5 goals landing in four of those five encounters.

Cadiz are fighting for their La Liga survival and have won three and lost two of their last five in league competition. On the road, however, they’ve won just one of their last five, losing the other four, scoring just three goals while conceding nine with Unders occurring in three. With both teams not among the goals of late we’re looking at a low-scoring affair here.
